We booked through Groupon voucher and had an excellent stay. Accommodations were very comfortable and quiet even though next to a railway line. We were warmly welcomed and the food was excellent. There was a set menu for those booking with the voucher, but we could also choose from the full menu and paid the difference. Excellent value, would stay... More

Fantastic property within reach of the Cairngorm National Park & surrounds. Very comfortable stay in the beautiful Penthouse suite and excellent service by all staff. The chef makes a brilliant steak & ale pie amongst many other beautiful dishes!

This was the second hotel we had used during our trip from John O Groats, the rooms are very comfortable, the restaurant served excellent food, the full Scottish breakfast was great, we had our bikes in a safe outside area under cover.

We stayed here for a couple of nights on a groupon deal-----simply wonderful place ---topped by simply wonderful people --the owners---cannot fault the whole experience-a lovely country house nestled just off the beaten track amongst a wooded area--parking at the door with rooms that have a lovely nostalgic feel--a well stocked bar offers you more whiskys than you could imagine--that... The garden room in which we stayed was quite spacious but the carpet(mainly) and the bathroom need some updating. as well as the surrounding grounds which would look... More

Our room was the penthouse, spacious and clean however, the bathroom was carpeted and had an odour problem. Was not properly cleaned during our 2 night stay and only 1 half filled bottle of liquid soap supplied for toiletries. Staff were friendly but quality of food was not wonderful. The scrambled egg for breakfast was pale and tasteless. Would not... More

We picked this out at the last minute as a stop over on a long journey and were delighted with our choice. It's a version of the classic country house hotel. Sporting prints, wood panelling etc. Our twin room was spacious and comfortable. There is a guest lounge with comfortable arm chairs and a rather splendid chess board. There was... More
