Stayed overnight here and it was very good. We arrived in the afternoon and they allowed us to store our push bikes in their on site shed. The room was clean. There was a nice view out of the window and it was quiet overnight. They allowed us to stay in the room until late afternoon which was incredibly good...

We had the pleasure of staying at The Hermitage for one night last week. We had a king room filled with lovely period furniture and features, overlooking the garden. The hosts were very welcoming and the whole building exudes old world charm. The highlight however was the breakfast. With an extensive choice (unusual for this type of accommodation) and cooked...

We had two very pleasant nights at The Hermitage as part of a week's walking holiday. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well provided. The breakfasts were superb. There was no need to choose the previous day but food appeared very promptly. The scrambled eggs were particularly good. Andy was also helpful in directing us to the best places to...

Have to say this is one of the loveliest places we have stayed! Our room was gorgeous - just so fresh but cosy also, breakfast went down a treat with omelette 'n full-fry for the two of us. Andrew was really helpful with info about things to do and where to eat - thanks again 'n we hope to be...

Excellent experience in one of the warmest and nicest B&B ever visited. Very good location for the Cairngorms and for enjoying the multiple activities the area actually offers. Andrew and Pauline were warm and professional hosts. Rooms was large, comfortable and silent. Breakfast, with home made good food, was excellent.

One of the most beautiful bed and breakfasts I have ever stayed in. The house, hosts and breakfast were second to none. Lovely stay and hope to return. House located in a convenient part of Scotland close by to wide variety of activities, I.e. Golf courses, walking, Etc.

I stayed at the Hermitage Guest House for two nights. Andrew and Pauline are wonderful hosts. They make sure that everything is just perfect from their first hello to checkout. Pauline's breakfasts are fantastic! Try the pancakes. You will thank me. Very quiet small town, but beautiful place to make as base.

We went directly to this place and checked on the evening. This area is always nearly fully booked event in low season (mid September). The room is large and complete, there were two beds, two armchairs, a table, wine glasses, tea set, etc. Two big windows overlook the quite street in the front of the house. From time to time...

Disappointed that you marked us down for Service when we obliged you with an early Breakfast. You cold called at around 16:00 asking for a room, you viewed the room and before committing you asked what time Breakfast was served and asked the price of the room. We informed you that our normal Breakfast time was between 8:00 am and...

This is a wonderful gem in the highlands. Comfortable, convenient, scrumptious breakfasts ordered just as you like. Very reasonable. Pauline & Andrew make the stay like a family occasion - it is like home from home. They are very helpful, friendly without being intrusive - top class hosts. The rooms are comfortable and all toiletries are always available, being topped...

“Trium is fantastic if you have 3 in your party like we had, myself and my two daughters stayed together in this very roomy comfortable room.”
  • Single bed side of the Trium room...the only triple room we found.
  • View from the single bedded area (it was a bit of a cloudy day)
  • The twin part of the room, very spacious and comfortable
