We were warmly welcomed by the owners and Daisy as well (lovely little dog!) Beautiful house in a lovely garden. Fine breakfast depending the individual wish of the guests, from typical english to real european.

I took my mother for a visit to this part of Scotland as part of her 90th birthday celebrations! My mother had the downstairs double bedroom, so she was next to the guests' living room and opposite the breakfast room and so no stairs to negotiate. The room, though classed as 'small' was comfortable and obviously convenient. The only small... More

We have stayed here before and would not hesitate to recommend. Breakfast wonderful. Richard and Louise are great hosts and make good suggestions for eating and visiting the surrounding area. We look forward to returning.

We have stayed with Richard & Louise before and it is like visiting family....but better ! Such a lovely couple ideally suited to this business. Extremely helpful and caring. Well presented, clean and tidy B&B with nice resident's lounge. We stayed here en-route to our Scottish "North Coast 500" road trip. The friendly and attentive host gave good advise on where to go for an evening meal and even left glasses out in the resident's lounge so that we could enjoy our own evening drinks on our return. If... More

Glenshieling house was perfect. Nothing less. The house is beautiful, their little dog is adorable, the two-course breakfast is fabulous and the hosts are the most welcoming and service minded people I have ever met. I cannot do anything else than wholeheartedly recommend Glenshieling house. Stay there if you have the chance.

We stayed here for one night and we're warmly welcomed with tea and home baking, which was a lovely surprise. The family room was fine for two adults and two teens and the house and Gardens were very nice. Breakfast deserves a special mention as the cinnamon porridge followed by pancakes with bacon and maple syrup were delicious.

I would happily recommend Glenshieling House to anyone. It is in an ideal location, close to the country but also on the outskirts of a town for food and shopping convenience. The bed was extra comfy, the food tasty and the people extremely welcoming. Superb.

Glenshieling House, a magnificent Victorian villa built in 1893; peacefully located within its own private gardens and woodland of three acres and set amongst the rolling Perthshire hills yet only a fifteen minute stroll to Blairgowrie town centre and all its amenities. We have six well-appointed en-suite bedrooms and our guests have full use of the charming lounge and adjoining music room/sunroom.
