My two friends and I got a lovely warm welcome from our hosts Gary and Nigel, we then enjoyed a scrumptious afternoon tea of warm homemade scones, cream and jam, as well as a selection of tea's. Our hosts have only had the Lodge for a few weeks but already you can see how fabulous it's going to be as... More

The Ivybank Lodge surpasses all expectations. Superfriendly, welcoming and attentive hosts, comfortable bed, good sized and spotlessly clean room, lots of nice touches in the room such as delicious chocolates from the Highland Chocolatier, Tunnock's teacakes, a Nespresso machine with pods and bottled water, free WiFi, beautifully refurbished dining room and lounge, and I understand the new owners are gradually... Visited on 22 July 2016 with friends. Top class guest house, rooms spotless and beautifully decorated. We had a meal while there which was first class just like visiting a top class restaurant. Nigel and Gary were excellent hosts very attentive and made us feel really welcome. Would definitely go back and would certainly recommend it. First class all round.

We were a group of 6 motorcyclists who needed good secure parking and wanted to be close to the town centre and this ticked those boxes. On our arrival we were met by the friendly NEW hosts who have recently taken over the ownership of the guest house and it has got to say they appear to be working hard... More

We booked this lodge last minute while passing through Blairgowrie on the way north. We expected a bog standard stay based on the price but were bowled over by the place and the service. It's been recently taken over and the new owners are refurbishing gradually. We stayed 1 night but wished it had been longer. We booked the evening... More

Our golfing week in Scotland was made extra special by our stay at Ivybank Lodge. We were instantly made to feel at home by Nigel and Gary. After our first gourmet meal superbly cooked by Nigel, we ate there every evening. We booked this short break blind as we were desperately needing accommodation to coincide with a birthday booking for off road quad biking and, as normal, we had left it until a few days prior to staying before seeking a hotel. No reviews read or background checks done, we set off, looking forward to a couple of days of peace... More
