Booked a trip through david Urquhart to this lovely friendly hotel. Family run business and we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Great food, great entertainment great service and a fantastic coach driver to drive us there. thoroughly recommend this hotel

This Hotel is very much like the Isle of White,in needs some T.L.C. Thank you for your comments i will pass on the review to the staff, as for the spiral staircase if you had asked you could of used the entrance from the dinning room where there is not any stairs and you could of used the lift.

I do not know why you would say that we where not ready for you as we where all waiting on your arrival the only thing was you had to bring your bags to reception so we could then deliver then to your rooms for you as we did not have a porter to help, as for reception if now...

This hotel is very dated stuck in the 1970s. (We were told by the national holidays agent that it had just been refurbished ) NOt TRUE .The rooms are very basic, bed was very lumpy the floor boards noisy and the toilet was very noisy every time you flushed. I do not know who told you that the hotel has been refurbished but it certainty did not come from us, and as for the tv being on the ceiling i do not know why you would put that as that would be very difficult to do, as a economy hotel we found that most of our guest enjoy there...

Hotel is badly in need of refurbishment in all areas and the staff are not very friendly. Décor and cleanliness of rooms are dated and not clean. Food of very poor quality. Broken window paned not fixed in the 5 days we were there. The hotel is not customer friendly

Thank you for your feed back but if future guest look at this and scroll down they will find that the staff at the Cygnet Hotel are very customer friendly, and as for the broken window we will get that fixed as i now it dose not look nice on arrival but like most things it takes time and money,
