Stayed here as a couple recently for 3 nights, room was clean and a good size. Geoff is really chatty, knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to things to do & see, directions etc. Breakfasts were always good and, like some other guesthouse owners he's good at remembering what you like/dislike. Would recommend to anyone looking at staying in the...

Very nice holiday in Wight by bike.. One of the best esperiences was our small Hotel. Good BK/fast, nice rooms, absolutely quet, romantic. The owners was quite polite an friendly, Prices are moderate and consistent with the structure. If a friend should ask me where to go in Wight I would send him there for sure.

Very enjoyable stay at the Bernay for my son and his school. His birthday was made special by the owners as they provided a lovely birthday cake. This was really nice as he did not expect it. The football as a present was brilliant too. Special moment. Thank you very much.

My boyfriend and I booked this B&B because we were going to Bestival and didn't want to camp. It is 110% worth it! Eating a full English every morning and having a comfy bed were worth the extra time it took to travel to the grounds each day. The Bernay is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach...

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 4 days in September. Can not recommended it enough, we were welcomed by Geoff and Jeanette and enjoyed speaking to them both during our stay. I emailed them when I booked, as I am lactose intolerant and Gluten free. I was provided with gluten free bread and soya milk which was...

Great hotel run by Geoff and Jeanette, who are the best hosts. We love staying at this hotel and it is central to Sandown and the bus stop at the end of the street takes you around the island. It was the scooter weekend of the August Bank Holiday and we stayed an extra night so we could sightsee on...

A great B&B with really welcoming hosts and a lovely, relaxed feeling. We came down for the scooter weekend in August and had a great time - with the Bernay a great place to be based from. Recommended!!
