An excellent 2nd year at this hotel with warm, friendly staff helping whenever needed and excellent food provided for breakfast and evening meal . Excellent entertainment in the evening and helpful bar staff to assist whenever needed! As a family we are looking forward to our next visit to the same hotel and what it has to offer

My husband and myself having been coming to Sandown for 18 years this little town needs some help, its looking tired and neglected hotels are shutting down and looking grubby. I feel Sandown needs help. Do not disappear the sands hotel, and staff are always welcoming the standard has always been brilliant especially barman, Ben

Just back from our sixth holiday at the Sands Hotel with Chris Cooper Travel. There's still a good choice of food on both morning and evening menus, if your peckish during the day there's a great choice of snacks at the "Shack" near the pool area. The bedrooms are comfy and warm but don't expect them to be spacious. There... More

Stayed here for a rambling holiday a couple of weeks ago. Hotel staff could not be nicer and very helpful all round. Meals very good (stayed bed and breakfast) with plenty of choice although the vegetarian option could do with expanding as quite limited, although they did get vegetarian sausages for breakfast for a friend. Food hot and well cooked.... More

We had an excellent walking holiday on the Isle of Wight. The hotel was very well run by the owners on site and the staff could not have done more for you.
