Hotel Tallinn Viimsi SPA earns rave reviews for its tranquil atmosphere, with guests consistently lauding the spacious, well-designed rooms. The spa and sauna are popular amenities, although there is room for enhancement. Its location is appreciated for being close to dining options and enhancing the serene spa experience. Travelers find the hotel to offer good value, especially praising the cleanliness and the friendly, professional service, despite isolated reports of unprofessionalism. While the rooms are clean, some guests find them overly warm and suggest they lack certain amenities.

Service was good, but there was a group of people in the spa 18+ relaxation area that were very noisy and drunk, very disturbing, we had to leave the mud sauna because of that and the staff didn’t do anything about it. But regardless of that the mud sauna and steam sauna with honey and salt scrub were very nice and our skin was extremely soft after that. When the fruit plate got empty noone replaced it for quite a while. It was pretty crowded in the spa 18+ and we were expecting a little more privacy and room but overall it was nice and we would visit it again. The strawberry margarita was great quality for the price!
The regular spa area was very slippery and wet, more than it usually is and the sauna’s didn’t have names on the door only the temperature - we found it a it disturbing since it was difficult to know what sauna it was. Other than that we didn’t really spend time in the regular spa since we had passes to the 18+ area.
The hotel room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were not of good quality. Also we didn’t like that there was no place to dry our swimwear since it’s a spa hotel. The bathroom was big and nice tho. They don’t have slippers in the room, if you want you can buy them for 2 euros from the reception.
We also visited the Black Rose pub twice during our stay, I had quite high expectations because of good reviews, but the food was below average - only the cheese balls were actually very good from what we tried (risotto, tom kha, mushroom soup, and salmon salad, garlic bread). Great choice of beer tho!
The breakfast selection in the other hand was superb! The only place I know that has even better breakfast is Palace Hotel Tallinn and that is really something. They have two rooms for breakfast food, the other room has coffee (only one automatic coffee machine tho, therefore has a long queue most of the time) and ice creams and pancakes and all sorts of stuff. Lovely breakfast really! Only limited seating places so might be difficult to find a table during rush hour, we got lucky.
Overall it was nice and we would visit again! One of the best spas in Tallinn.

The hotel location is great, close to the capital city and a big shopping center and at the same time near the sea. The room was quiet with no external noise, only the mattress could be newer. The breakfast offered varied food and was good enough not to look for an additional meal for next hours. The most of staying time we spent in a swimming pool, beauty center and spa, where we had an a anti-cellulite and Thai massage and also a manicure. My adult daughter and I were really happy with that weekend together in Hotel Tallinn Viimsi SPA.

At first we booked a standard room, but upgraded it to a superior one, because walls were creaking because of wind and seemed to be super thin. Superior room was excellent. Customer service found quickly a new room for us that cost little bit more, but it was all worth it.

Great Spa complex at spa18+. Regular one tends to be more crowded. Nice breakfast.

Trip was during the heat wave, we had a double family room and to our suprise there was no air conditioner in the room. None of us could get any sleep, it was a torture. There was no shampoo in the room, to our query the reseptionist was very snappy and behind our back said that the soap should be enough. Also no where to dry your swimming clothes. We booked 2 days through spa own website, we should have had complimentary water in our room- water bottles were provided only in the first day. Fridges in the room were bit dirty and the TV remote was very dirty.
My mum was kicked out from one sauna, cleaner lady had very little estonian, and my mum first understood that there is some kind of emergency and everyone must leave; actually sauna yoga started in 45 min.
Breakfast was nice and the service was polite.
The girl in spa caffeteria was really nice and polite as well.

H2O is great but only operating very limited hours not advertised during booking. One staff member was carefully watching the slides but her relief just sat on his phone on the floor out of sight of the security camera. Reception never once smiled or said hi as we passed. Spa check in staff were either on their phone or chatting and not at all friendly. Restaurant staff only talk to you to get your room number but don't even greet you.
Breakfast the worst I've ever had world wide. Choice was varied but mostly stale and all flavourless. Mostly the same choices appeared each meal for breakfast lunch and dinner and so you had ice cream for breakfast. They don't do apple juice but apple drink which is so watered down it is basically water. Both of us got sick.

Room very very basically furnished with a squeegy mop to help control flooding as the shower isn't self contained so floods.

Had to request a refund for enrtry paid in advance for H2) which wasn't able to be used due to it only opening Thur-Sun 1200-2100 and you have to check out at 1200. When H2) is closed the spa pool gets busier. The walkway between the spa and H2) also isn't heated so is freezing cold.
There are so many better hotel options so just visit the pool for the day like we used to.in Tallinn.

The 18+ spa was great. Not a lot of people and great relaxing atmosphere. I loved the quiet lounging area too, perfect for reading and relaxing.

The hotel room was pretty decent in general but a huge down side was a serious cigarette smell in the bathroom. Couldn't leave the door open at all and taking a shower was rather awful because of it. The reception staff that day seemed rather unfriendly.

Great buffet breakfast, there was non dairy milk and good coffee. There was even ice cream :D

At the weekend the spa was overcrowded and there wasn’t enough room in the saunas. The spa consists of three different parts. I recommend buying access to all of them. 18+ spa had enough room, but it’s quite pricy for just 3 hours. Luckily the visitors of the hotel get unlimited access for 25 euros. H2O is very cool and I definitely recommend it if you like adrenaline. We had four different wristbands and in my opinion it would have been possible to make do with one.
The pub had good food but the service was not what we expected. The waitress came quick, took our order, brought us food in 20 minutes as promised and then completely forgot us. We waited for 35 minutes and then paid at the bar.
The window and mirror in the room were dirty. It actually wasn’t a window, but a French balcony and there weren’t other windows. The room was quite dark but it was spacious and I got the view that I wanted.
The breakfast was excellent and very versatile. We really enjoyed it.

Have a nice weekend in a good hotel and normal spa. The room was on the 8th floor and some noise was probably vent. equipment, but it didn't bother me to sleep well. The spa is common, but there is also the option of redeeming the entrance to the 18+ spa area, which is obviously less crowded and has a more relaxed atmosphere.

Overall, we had a positive experience staying at the Viimsi SPA. The check-in process was smooth. We also bought SPA18+ access upon arrival. I would highly recommend the SPA18+ for couples. The sauna & spa side that is included in the hotel stay can be a bit busy, but the separate adult exclusive side had plenty of room and a calm ambience.

The hotel room key is a waterproof plastic bracelet which also grants access to the spa and sauna areas. In spite of being connected to your hotel room, this bracelet cannot be used to pay in the poolside cafés and bars. Every time you make a purchase, staff will ask for your hotel room number and you will need to sign a receipt for each transaction. All purchases will be billed upon check-out.

The SPA18+ has a poolside bar where guests can enjoy their beverages without leaving the water. There is a snack menu available which is fulfilled by the hotel's Black Rose pub and delivered to the spa area. The SPA18+ website states that their offerings include a garra rufa fish pool. During our stay this fish pool was out of service.

Bring your own flip-flops or sandals.

The breakfast buffet was basic but good. The one thing worth mention is the pancake buffet with ice cream, which was a huge draw for children in particular.

There is no air conditioning and the rooms get quite hot during the day. Our room was equipped with one tabletop fan. If you are a light sleeper, sleeping with the window open may lead to a restless night as there is a lot of traffic noise from the street.

Showering in the hotel room flooded most of the bathroom floor. The toilet was located right next to the shower stall, which had a shower curtain and a shower wall that didn't reach the floor. Water pooled on the floor around the toilet after showers. There was no floor squeegee in the room.

Rooms are not sound proof. You will be able to hear all and any louder sounds from above and all around. The mini fridge in our room smelled absolutely rank, like a used diaper. The insides of the fridges are likely not cleaned often or at all. The space in which the fridge was lodged had poor air circulation and as a result, the fridge ran hot and vented hot air all around it.

The hotel staff were polite and friendly in an understated and curtly courteous way. Flamboyant, personalized hospitality is not offered here, adjust your expectations accordingly.

Nice spa hotel, good beds, but spa floor extremely slippery! Lots of kids on Saturday, 20 eur for spa 18 is quite a lot as you donät see what you get with that money. Of course no kids but is there same saunas etc..?..would like to see the premises before paying extra.
