Stayed here in april with girlfriends and I must say this little gem stole my heart. We had a beach front room on the ground floor and it was amazing right next to everything. We met some great people while we were there that helped make our stay extra memorable. Staff was extraordinary, food was delicious and alcohol was plentiful. Our room was a tad dated and nothing is included in our fridge but that would be my biggest ''complaint''. Will definitely be back here!

My husband and I traveled to Pineapple Beach back in April for our honeymoon, and I can't say enough amazing things about this resort. Keep in mind that I am not a snobby person, so I do not require people to wait on me hand & foot, so if you are one of those people.. this might not be the resort for you. The resort is not luxurious by any means in terms of amenities, but it is relaxing, the beach is to die for, the food is delicious and the people were fantastic and to me, what more can you ask for... The Waterfront rooms are an absolute must, it feels like your room is in the Ocean, it is so relaxing to sit out on your private balcony at night, listen to some tunes and hear the waves crashing less than 10 feet away. Now, if you are looking for a party, this is not the resort for you. Entertainment was done by around 11 p.m. every night, and the resort was quiet. My husband and I loved this for our Honeymoon, especially because by 9 p.m. after a full day in the sun, we were ready to just hang out on our balcony and relax. The staff at this resort were SO lovely, of course you always get the odd one here and there that aren't the friendliest but for the most part, all of the staff were welcoming, funny, and just all around great. The food was FABULOUS. The Roti station for dinner one night was to die for. I was in a food coma after eating way too many of those. There was an Antigen street party the one night where they had authentic West Indie food, and it was so yummy and the entertainment was amazing as well (Steel Drum band of kids). Pelican Grill is great for mid-day snack or a late night snack, regular pub sort of food, quick, and easy to bring back to your room (ours was about 20 feet from here - so it was quite handy). The rooms were a tiny bit dated, but all-in-all very clean. The bed was a little bit uncomfortable, but let's be honest, i don't go to the Caribbean to sleep, so that wasn't a big deal for us. If you are looking for a resort that has a swim-up bar, and a mini-bar in your room that is fully stocked, this is not the resort for you. There is no mini-bar in the room, which was fine for myself and my husband as we are both not really big drinkers, and we spent the whole week on the beach, so the no swim-up bar was no big deal for us either. The beach is to die for, the water is clear as glass, no seaweed, no bugs, the water is a tad bit choppy, as Antigua is a windy island, but I happened to love that. There were always chairs on the beach available, and the water was dreamy. The best part of the whole vacation, i did not see one single bug, the whole time we were there. I'm not sure if it was because of the time of year (April), because there was no humidity or it was too windy, but the lack of bugs was noticeable, and was so lovely! All-in-all, this resort is a dream if you are looking for a small place, adults only, with very little partying. And if you're going to spend the money, splurge and get the Waterfront Room, they are LIFE-CHANGING. Thank you, Pineapple Beach, we will be back :)

This last minute holiday certainly did not disappoint. From the moment we stepped through the resort into the reception we were well looked after by the staff. The food is amazing for an all inclusive and we definitely reccomend that guests try the outhouse. It's like a hidden treasure!!! Although it's a relaxing environment as a young couple there was still plenty to do including getting involved with the activities team, night entertainment and excursions that they have to offer. We would love to come back!!!

On previous review by camperman, no idea where he went but could not have been the same place !! The Pineapple Beach Club was superb in every aspect. Having taken holidays all over the world in the last 40 years this was by far the best holiday ever. Totally faultless. Room was large, exceptionally clean with ice cold air conditioning. The large private balcony had a comfy double sofa overlooking the bay. Bathroom was dated in appearance but was very functional with a piping hot shower and was absolutely clean. Room was serviced every day with clean towels and beautifully made up room. Booking in was efficient friendly and sorted within 10 minutes, as was checking out. Every member of staff from the Management team to the gardeners, bar and restaurant staff and guest services were always smiling friendly, helpful and could not be more accommodating. We were made to feel both welcome and valued by everyone. Quality and choice of food was exceptional as were the restaurant staff. We were taken up to the Rib & Chicken shack by Markleen on one of the complimentary golf buggies to save the walk up a fairly steep hill. Ribs and fish were outstanding as was the friendly greeting and service. Cooking facilities were immaculate with hot barbeque food coming off the griddle and straight into catering closhes to keep it both hot and free from any flies or insects. We found all aspects of hygiene and cleanliness to be way beyond our expectations with several minor but impressive practices employed such as hand cleanser all around the restaurant and all plates stacked face down to avoid any contamination, small detail but important. We really could not fault this resort, the beach was fabulous and was like walking on sugar. Loads of sun beds and no "looky looky" men to disturb you. All of the facilities, staff, food, hospitality was faultless in every way and although only been home 48 hours are already looking to book here again next year. Antigua is absolutely beautiful, the people are so friendly, paradise found, fabulous !

We recently returned from an amazing trip to the Pineapple Beach Club. When we first arrived, we were greeted by a cool towel and a rum punch before we signed in. The check-in process seemed a bit more formal compared to my previous Caribbean experiences, but that seems to be the Antiguan way for things like this. Once checked in, a porter loaded our bags onto a golf cart, showed us where to park our rental vehicle and escorted us to our room. We stayed right on the beach in the oldest building. The view from our room and private front porch was unbeatable looking toward the NW over the sea. The room was perfectly clean, reasonably sized and included all the expected amenities (hair dryer, safe, ironing board, iron, refrigerator, flat-screen TV, etc). The air conditioner worked very well and was relatively quiet. The bathroom was a bit dated, but the tilework on the shower wall was very attractive. One nice plus was the room had both US-spec outlets AND an UK-spec outlet! The resort included all beverages including many top-shelf liquors and some regional exclusives (sadly they did NOT have the island-exclusive beer Wadadli). The on-site dining is excellent, but do make sure to make your reservations early - reservation venues book up by lunch on the day before the reservation. If a reservation is not available, the a la carte buffet is exceptionally good. The venue "Topaz" is right on the water and sea breezes cool the dining area quite well. Service is usually exceptional, however we did experience a few examples of Caribbean Time response times. This was never a problem however. My favorite dining experience was the Pineapple Grill - an air-conditioned venue with 4- to 5-star meals and top-notch service. My least-favorite was the Italian dinner. Once I came to terms with the fact it was a Caribbean take on Italian dishes, it was fine. Aside that single mediocre (certainly not bad, however) experience, the food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was amazing. The Pelican Grill was perfect for a burger or a Caribbean quesadilla. The bars were all staffed by friendly and helpful bar tenders and made the visits feel like you were going to your local pub. Entertainment was really good as well. We enjoyed live music, dancing, and trivia. There was also volleyball and other events available should you want to partake. The available activities were fantastic. The facility has windsurfing, Hobie Cats, and sea kayaks available for guests at no charge. I loved taking the Cat out beyond the reef for a unique view on my own terms. For relaxation, there are a few sea hammocks that fulfilled a bucket-list item I never knew I had: sipping a Sparkling Wine whilst relaxing in a sea hammock. I highly recommend this! We did 2 excursions, the Shirley Heights trip and the Calypso Cat snorkeling trip. I liked the Shirley Heights trip, though I think once is probably enough. On my next trip (and there will be more), I'll absolutely go out on the Calypso Cat again! The guests at this resort are predominantly from Europe (and those, mostly from the UK). Almost every person visiting was exceptionally kind and we even formed some friendships which will continue after this visit. The staff are all highly professional and eager to please. There were a limited number of non-resort beach vendors, but they were not overly intrusive. In every case, a kind yet clear 'no thank you' was enough to have them pass you by for the rest of the visit. The location is phenomenal. Nestled between a couple tall peninsulas, the sea is sheltered from the rougher waters of the Atlantic, but a good breeze still comes into the facility. Looking straight over the sea, you face due North. Except for Barbuda just to the NW of the resort (which cannot be seen due to its low altitude), the next land to the north would be the Eastern half of Nova Scotia! looking NW from the beach you can see some of the myriad islands that dot the northern shore of Antigua. Full Sunrise and Sunset are obscured by the landscape around the resort, but the beautiful skies were no less colorful at those hours. The resort is very close to Devil's Bridge, which is a must-see. Just outside of the resort, the area is very rural with the small village of Willikies nearby. Renting a car is nice if you just want to explore (which I LOVE to do), but with so much available at the resort it is not mandatory. We will absolutely return to this "Adults-Only" resort (in "quotes" because there were a couple people there whom I seriously doubted their adult age... but that was never a problem). Because of the experience here we will seriously consider the family resort next door which is owned by the same group when we visit with kids. I'm ecstatic we chose this resort for our trip!
