Stayed here for 10 nights from 12 sep 2021 staying in a lovely large garden room with a view of the beautiful gardens and a good sea view. The resort was quiet so understandably only 2 nights had buffet the other nights were A la carte. The food from the breakfast buffet to the pineapple grill, topaz restaurant the Italian, the outhouse or the beach snack bar was perfect in every way.The drinks was very good all served by happy friendly staff. The beach is stunning with clear blue waters. The beach is cleaned daily.I cannot fault the resort and recommend it very highly. You will not be disappointed.Evening entertainment most nights and plenty of activities.Avery enjoyable stay, looking forward to returning..

We had a wonderful two weeks at Pineapple Beach. Having booked a garden view room we were very happy to be staying in one of the recently renovated ones which also had a view of the beach from the balcony. The bed was extremely comfortable and the air conditioning and ceiling fan kept us cool. The room was cleaned every other day. There was always plenty of hot water and we had no issues with our room. Everything worked and nothing was broken. The internet was widely available in the bedrooms, around the resort and even on the beach. There was never any problem finding a bed by the pools or the beautiful beach. There were plenty of towels and the sea was lovely and warm with no rocks or jelly fish. We enjoyed the food particularly at the Pineapple Grill and Chef Pietro restaurants which we were able to book most evenings. There were also A la carte evenings at the Topaz restaurant. We were impressed with the quality of the wine served in all of the restaurants. The breakfast was good. The cooked to order omelettes and eggs were always delicious. The lunchtime and evening buffet was limited in choice and the food could have been hotter but we understand it is not possible to provide the large help yourself style buffets we have been used to before Covid. There was definitely a shortage of staff but those that work there are all very had working and friendly without exception. We ate at the Outhouse BBQ a couple of times. The food here is really good with lovely views. It’s a nice walk up the hill to get there. We also had a couple of lunches from the Pelican Grill but as there is only one person cooking and taking orders you may have to wait quite a while in the heat. However the food was really good and well worth waiting for. The Sly Mongoose bar was great in the evenings with a good selection of cocktails, soft drinks, beers and spirits. Every afternoon when we came off the beach we enjoyed a cup of tea in the coffee shop where there is a nice selection of ice cream, sandwiches, cakes and cookies. Evening entertainment was okay. We loved the steel band which was there once a week. There was another live band which was good but some evenings there wasn’t anything. Again we wondered if this was due to Covid limitations. We found the reception staff extremely friendly and helpful on arrival and they were happy to print our passenger locator forms before we left. Overall, considering Covid limitations we had a wonderful relaxing stay here and would be happy to return.

We had a good time, and enjoyed the resort and staff. Everything was great, food, pools, ocean, and activities. I would definitely return. Casey and Anita were fantastic activities coordinators. And Jaheel was so compassionate and helpful when our friend got sick. Could not have asked for better people.

An absolutely amazing, relaxing week Well, we must have timed it right. Reading the previous negative reviews, we were worried but the end of august/beginning of September must be the right time to stay. Check in was as swift as it could be but the Antiguan’s are rightly cautious about COVID so they made sure everything was in place. We had a beachfront room, which was literally a few paces away from the sand. A previous comment of ‘all you can see is loungers’ is nonsense. The view is beautiful! The room was adequate and had everything we needed although, as previously mentioned, the rooms do need updating, particularly the bathrooms. However, the bed was very comfortable. We certainly did not go hungry or thirsty at the PBC. Both A La Carte restaurants served really nice meals, although some of the ‘fine dining’ starters were a little on the small side. Service was always efficient and friendly. Topaz, the main restaurant was no issue either breakfast was easy, with a wide selection of fruits, cheese, hot and cold options etc However, with one person serving the hot choices onto your plate (COVID requirements) I can see why this might have been an issue during peak times in the summer. We had no such issues. Getting a table and getting served was never an issue. We only had lunch here once and we came out very full and happy. The Pelican Grill was a great choice for lunch although there was only one person taking orders and cooking so it can take a little while. The special burger was worth the wait!! The Outhouse was also very much worth the walk. Freshly cooked amazing food with lovely service too. The ribs were incredible. The swimming pools and facilities were also very lovely. No issues whatsoever getting a lounger at any pool or on the beach at any time. And no lounger hogging with towels. The beach was so beautiful. As reported on previous reviews, seaweed washed up overnight but that was soon cleared. The sea was so warm and inviting. We also made use of the rafts that were tied up in the sea. Beautiful to relax on. We also made use of the water sports facilities. The Hobie Cat was great fun! Be prepared to get splashed and very wet though. We also borrowed so fins (flippers) and snorkelled around the reef just off the beach. We highly recommend doing this. A really nice experience seeing such a variety of fish. The guys handing out the water sports equipment were really good fun with good knowledge. The evening entertainment was varied. The steel band were very talented and great to watch. Face masks are to be worn in communal areas (which most people abided my) and hand sanitiser pumps were at regular intervals. We felt very COVID safe. We had a fantastic week and were very sad to leave. Thanks for a wonderful holiday

We stayed in PBC in early July to celebrate a birthday. Overall the resort has a beautiful beach, staff are friendly and accommodating especially Suzette, Martiza and Daniel at the bars. The Managers Sanjay, Kevin and Anne-Marie are an asset to the resort. Food and drinks are good and outhouse has wonderful views and grill. Cafe is brilliant and the tortoise sanctuary within the hotel grounds was our go-to. Our room, although basic, had all the amenities and ocean view.
