My husband, son and I stayed at Sandsides for two nights, on 20th and 21st August. We were made to feel very welcome by Rebecca, who showed us around and carried out bags to our room. Our rooms were clean, well decorated and very comfortable. Good selection at breakfast, nicely cooked. We will definitely stay there again when visiting our... More

We stayed here at the mid point of our holiday. After 5 sleepless nights in a tent - about to be followed by three more with two young children - this was our little break of luxury. The owner was friendly and helpful; the bed was enormous and ridiculously comfortable; there were lots of thoughtful details (like homemade cookies in... More

My husband and myself stayed at Sandsides for one evening. This is more than a guest house, nothing is too much trouble for the lovely young lady Rebecca who owns this amazing guest house. The décor of the house is beautiful and the lovely touches of home made biscuits in the bedroom and fresh milk made it extra special. We... More

We have stayed at many b & b in Whitley Bay over several years and this, by far, was the best. It felt like a boutique hotel. The owner, Rebecca, has gone to great lengths to make sure that every is perfect in the property. The bedroom was comfy and clean with a lovely range of teas, coffees and home... More

Stayed in a single room that was comfortable and had its own separate en-suite. Everything spotless but the best thing about this guest house are the owners Rebecca and her Mam. Can not find fault with anything. Will be staying again next time I am in Area.

Very welcoming. Family room is spacious and well equipped. Breakfasts are lovely. It's the first time I've eaten cake in the morning 3 days straight but it was irresistible! Well advised by owner of the best places to eat. Great location as beach is a 2 minutes walk. I have nothing bad to say about this place. My partner and... More

This is the only review of any of the B & B that we stayed in during our 300 mile Newcastle to Scotland cycle ride. After a long hard ride we feel we deserve a good and comfortable place to stay. Sandsides is pleasant in appearance but inside Rebecca has done a great job. The rooms were well appointed and... More

I was allowed to park my motorbike around the back, nice & safe & under cover (it was raining when I arrived). Right, that's the motorbike sorted - me next! Yep, just as I had hoped for, immaculately clean & first class service, couldn't have wished for anymore. Cooked Breakfast tasted especially delicious. Everything was spot on - so I... More

I stayed for 2 nights here and I must say was a lovely stay. The guest house was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. There was a warm welcome as soon as you arrived. The room was very clean with lovely fluffy towels and everything you needed. A good selection of teas and coffee with nice fresh milk and jar of... More

I was asked by my wife's German family to find a guest house for a week so they could visit us( as we could not fit them all in our house) and we booked Sandsides guest house. What a lovely week they had and they were really pleased with the customer service and standard of the newly refurbished rooms (all... More
