We stayed here about 3 years ago and were impressed at that time so sought it out again. The boys have since done a bit of updating and the rooms are now more modern and lack for nothing. So pleasing to feel the same warmth and caring from them - they are amazing hosts. The breakfast is still awesome. If...

Room was clean and reasonably well appointed. The Met tries to be a boutique hotel but comes up short. Black furniture edges have worn white. Various bits of wood and plastic trim seem to have been installed by a visually challenged DIY enthusiast. None of these detracted from our stay but the plumbing is most peculiar. It bubbles and gurgles...

Very helpful from the moment we booked, secure cycle storage. A really comfortable stay in a spotlessly clean and smart B&B. We loved the décor. Excellent breakfast, lots of variety and especially delicious bacon. If you need an evening meal, there are lots of restaurants within a few minutes' walk. We ate at a really good Italian restaurant on the...

We visited as a couple at the start and end of the Coast & Castles cycle ride (2 nights). Great breakfast and fantastic room and Steven was very helpful. Cycles were placed in secure storage overnight. We would recommend for cyclists passing through.

Thoroughly recommend this hotel. Small and welcoming establishment, beautifully clean comfortable and modern. 5 minute walk to some very good restaurants, 2 minute walk to the seafront. Make sure you have the full breakfast. Will definitely come back.
