A friend and I used this guest house as a base for a recent trip. We booked a twin room with ensuite. To be honest I wasn’t expecting much however we were incredibly pleased when we got there! Hardeep gave as a warm welcome. Our room had 2 comfy double beds, it was very clean and had some unexpected extras in the ensuite. Lots of nearby plugs for phone charging. The placed seemed to have undergone renovation recently. There was limited headroom up the top flight of stairs and you do have to duck. Parking is possible down the street but not guaranteed. The metro centre is a short walk away. There are lots of places to eat nearby. It was great value for money. I would recommend! (Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.)

Stayed for the first weekend in September as my girlfriend was running the Great North Run. The guest house is pleasant and certainly excellent VFM, especially over a busy weekend. The owner (Hardeep) is very flexible, helpful and welcoming. It is close to both the seafront, town centre and metro and was an idea base for the run. Also the breakfast was delicious and ample. One potential drawback for future guests is parking (on street outside) - we were lucky in that we found a space right outside, but the guest house does not have dedicated parking.

2 nights over Bank holiday weekend. Absolutely lovely. Hardeep and Hardy are lovely, Hardy runs the little supermarket right next door. Superb breakfast and lovely room. Lovely quiet street and ideal for beach/town/metro. Really appreciated the courtesy call from Hardeep 2 days prior to our arrival to finalise our arrival times. Thank you very much for having us. Romie and Paula Hunter.
