Myself and 5 friends stayed here overnight to run the Whitley Bay to Newcastle Half Marathon the following morning (highly recommended on a sunny morning, organisation if the weather's bad, not so much), it is wonderfully clean, cheap and functional. I had a great nights sleep at the back of the hotel, after a delightful and so cheap and delicious... More

My wife and I spent three nights in this hotel in October and found the room really cozy and warm, spotlessly clean with the bathroom well stocked up and plenty tea and coffee. The breakfast was also very good with a Buffet Bar so you could have anything you want. The price was very reasonable and the staff friendly and... More

Stayed one night here as we were going out in Whitley Bay for a friends birthday. Room was clean and towels/toiletries provided. Great location close to all the main bars and clubs. Lovely little Italian restaurant next door. Amazing food and service for breakfast, they couldn't do enough for us. All in all for the price couldn't complain at all... More

Had a lovely stay at the newquay lodge, staff couldnt have been anymore friendly, great location and fab breakfast. Hotel could do with a little upgrading but for the price they charge its well worth it. Would stay again.

Great room with easy access to the Metro, right on the sea front. Great staff and Olive puts together a lovely breakfast. Fantastic coast line. I will definitely book again if and when I go back to the North East.

Had a nice night out that evening until we came back to get our heads down...no chance with two clubs banging out the music till... More

We stayed here when going to see the tall ships at Blyth. We had room 31 which is at the back of the hotel, it was clean and had everything you would need. There were plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. The bedding was spotless although the bed was a little hard for me. Nothing was too much for the... More

Stayed here at the end of a coast to coast cycle ride before pressing on up the Northumbrian coast. It was a last minute booking - Room 13! I wasn't expecting much but my room was good and spotless. The staff were friendly and accommodating - I needed somewhere to safely store my bike over night and the staff didn't... More
