A fantastic B and B if your in Douglas. Decent rooms and a good spot off the promenade. Friendly staff and a really good breakfast. The bar closes at 11pm so be mindful of that if you fancy a late drink. Definitely one for a return visit.

I stayed at Glen Mona in September because the other hotels I wanted were booked. The Isle of Man can get very busy when there's an event going on, like the automobile rally that was scheduled during my visit. When I got to Glen Mona, which is relatively easy to do via bus from the airport, I was surprised to... More

The hotel is only a 10 minute (max) drive from the ferry, and is easy to find. We were in the large downstairs room called Slaint Vie. It was very large - there was a king size double bed and 2 single beds, and the room didn't seem overcrowded! The bed was very comfy, but I did struggle with the... More

We arrived here in the evening at the hotel and found that we had to check in at the sister hotel a little way up the road. Luckily it had stopped raining, so it was not a great problem. This is where you have to go for breakfast also, also not a problem, but could be if you were partially... More

We visited at the end of the Manx GP. My room was on the 3rd floor and there were a lot of steps getting there.... The fire door does not help at all when trying to get in/out with luggage, but I understand it needs to be there. My room was well equipped and everything worked. The room was small... More

On arrival had to find someone to check in, ended up walking up the road to a nearby bar to find the staff who also worked there. We are a biking group and it was a very wet 4 hour journey to the IOM so we had lots of wet clothes etc. There are lots of stairs which we had... More

Stayed here for one night in the family room the room was absolutely massive and very clean and well appointed the only downside was that breakfast was in a hotel just up the road not far but a little bit of an inconvenience

I booked this place for a last minute trip. They let me check in early even though I hadn't pre-arranged it. Room was nice. Ate in the restaurant (a 30 second walk from the hotel) and had some tasty breakfasts and a nice Sunday lunch (Loved the buffet style breakfast!). The staff were very helpful and friendly. Good location just... More

To describe the rooms as "compact" I think would be fair. They are clean and well presented, with decent decor, just small. We were originally put in a room on the top floor but the Wi-Fi just wouldn't work. We were moved to the 1st floor and to be fair it worked more often than it didn't but I still... More
