Late arrival meant we were told the bar would close in 12 minutes, too late for the rest of our party to enjoy, a bit disappointing as a hotel is after all in the service industry but that is the owners prerogative and choice. Having said that the room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable, the breakfast fine and... More

What a lovely place to stay. Right on the promenade, so really handy for buses, horse trams, bars etc. The staff were lovely - we got there a bit early but they were really welcoming and looked after our stuff until our room was ready. Speaking of which, our room was great. It was absolutely spotless, the bed was so... More

First time on the Isle of Man. Researched a number of properties centrally located and chose the Inglewood. A good decision. Nice welcome and assistance with luggage up to the room. Excellent breakfast. Easy on street parking on the Promenade, the Hotel is outside the disc parking zone so no problems on leaving the car for lengthy periods. Rooms are... More

The Inglewood hotel is one of the many B&B hotels along Queen's Promenade in Douglas. The owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly. There is a comfortable lounge with a sea view and a small bar which opens in the evenings - very welcoming for that final nightcap. My room was on an upper floor and was spacious enough... More

The room we stayed in had split wallpaper, and copious amounts of dust under the beds, also someones cycling t-shirt in the cupboard. The noise from the neighboring (I presume) building went on all night long for the duration of our 2 night stay. The rooms were incredibly warm, could benefit from air-con. Cannot comment on breakfast as we left... More

I remember checking with you that everything was OK when I was outside on the bench on our terrace and you were coming in, so I'm disappointed you did not mention anything at the time. The split in the wallpaper has happened recently and the work is scheduled to fix it apologies that I didn't advise you about it on... More

We stayed in a double sea view suite which had fantastic views of the bay. The bed had a fantastic memory foam mattress. Overall the room was very good and looked recently decorated. We only briefly met Pip but her husband Andy was a good host and a nice guy. We would definitely stay here again given the chance.

Just back from a 3 night stay at the Inglewood on my bike trip. This is a great location and Andy and Pip are really nice and offer some good advice on what to do and places to eat. Nice lounge and small residents bar. Very clean and room was spotless. I had a single room to the rear of... More

Very seldom do I stay in none national / international hotels or B&Bs but the Isle of Man has few! I did my homework especially reading TripAdvisor and forund the Inglewood. I am really glad I did as there is plenty of poor stuff on the idland - take a walk around Douglas!! The greeting was terrific, efficient introduction to... More

We booked two rooms for three nights; one for me and hubby (so popular we could only get a twin even booking months in advance!) and one for my sister. We were on the second floor at the back and my sis was on 4th floor (unlucky for her climbing all the stairs lol!!). We were warmly greeted by Pip... More

A very comfortable place to stay . Great service with a nice bar and comfortable lounge.Run by Andy and Pippa . Pippa's breakfast the best we had on the island and Andy's toast pretty good too!!! They go the extra mile and posted some property we had left behind. Andy's sense of humour amusing. Would definitely recommend this Hotel when... More
