Enjoyed our weekend at the Regency. All the staff were friendly and super helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. View over the bay was great, not so great was all the work going on outside on the promenade. Still, it won’t last forever. Breakfasts were good, plenty of choice and well cooked. Already planning our return visit. Thank you.
Using the Guernsey IOM airbridge we had a wonderful week in this exceptional hotel. The fabric of the building and the rooms are of great tasteful quality. But ... where this hotel excels is in it's heart. The staff are some of the best we have met. Warm, friendly, efficient offering excellent service, while making you feel like friends. In hospitality it's a rare quality, but the Regency achieves it. The rooms are well appointed with sea views available, comfortable bar and excellent food available at all mealtimes. Could not as for more, and will definately return.
Beautiful hotel room with superb views looking out onto Douglas Bay. Definitely had the wow factor! The in house Restaurant L’ Experience was fantastic too along with their warm and welcoming friendly staff. Will definitely be back.
We were very happy with this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff especially Tim and Belinda. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast offered a good selection including Manx kippers. L'experience restaurant was good too Don't be put off by the promenade being dug up (no noise or disturbance) - but I'd recommend having a hire car if you are staying here.
Having eaten here before the restaurant changed chefs we were not sure what to expect. This has always been a favourite place to eat. The new menu and quality are excellent and we will definitely be returning. It is on the upper side price wise but that is matched with the quality of food and service. This really is a little hidden gem and we will look forward to returning. James is still front of house and manages the floor perfectly.
