Visited IOM for a 4 day short break last weekend. Stayed at this hotel. Unfortunately didn't see comments posted by previous reviewers regarding the kitchen fans starting up at 5:30 in the morning, and rooms being hot & stuffy or would have looked for other accommodation. As we had been allocated a room at the back of the hotel and...

Very clean, tidy, nice room, friendly staff and good entertainment. Arrived with my 10 year old to find an error in the booking due to an internet site (not the hotel's!). Although they were very busy, the receptionist went out of her way to ensure myself and my son were catered for. She was efficient, helpful and not at all...

Just returned from a 3 night b and b stay here at the Rutland Hotel, and can only say that if you find fault with the premises, you must be looking long and hard judging on my experience. The room was only booked 2 days prior to our visit, we got a 1st floor executive sea view room for handy...

Bed rooms were spacious and clean, the bathroom had a very efficient shower. Our room was one floor above the kitchen therefore noisy and sometimes smelling of food an extractor fan would start at about 5.30 and sleep from then on was impossible. The breakfasts were very good like wise the dinner with the exception of the vegetables which in the...

I looked on trip advisor after we had booked this holiday, and noticed a comment about a certain room and guess what we were alotted the room that someone had complained about, the first night we had no sleep at all because of a continuous buzzing noise from a bid funnel coming from the kitchen area, so we were moved...

My stay at the Rutland Hotel was better than I expected .Breakfast was a full english with plenty of choices including different cereals. For dinner there was a different Carvery every night as well as other choices so if you were hungry afterwards that is entirely your own fault. The rooms were a good size and were always serviced every...

We stayed here for 4 nights from 24-28 July with a WOODS coach party from Leicester. We were a little late due to the lengthy 4hr ferry crossing and were met by a disgruntled member of staff who just wanted to get us in and fed very soon - never mind the nicety of finding our room and having a...

Stayed for 6 nights in July 2015 in a standard double room. We booked this hotel based on the reviews on this site. While the room was adequate and clean, we did have a couple of issues. Bed was not made on three occasions (alternate days - not sure why), reported it after the second time, receptionist said she would...

On arrival you are faced with some VERY steep steps so it's not really suitable for infirm people. There is no disabled access. The rooms are very comfortable and the corridors have quite a lot of steps as well. The lift only holds 3 people at , a time. The ground floor dining room hides some of the tables behind...
