Detailed Reviews
We had a lovely time. Our room was very spacious and clean and tidy. En-suite shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast options were varied and well cooked. Full English, eggs etc through to just cereals if that was your requirements. The host, Ian was lovely a man very friendly and knowledgable regarding the area.

Great value for money B&B on Douglas seafront. Rooms are quite small but cozy and clean with all the usual facilities including on suite shower, toilet etc. Great breakfast with loads of choice to start your day off well. Very friendly helpful staff gave good advice about where to go an what to see. Perfect for TT and Manx GP with easy road access to all areas. Limited bike parking spaces on road and pavement outside so may be a little frantic during TT week. There is a bar and lounge on site plus loads of good pubs and bars nearby. Will hope to stay again!

The St' Heliers has a fine seafront location -- not far from the ferry terminal. Friendly staff. Rooms comfortable though a bit 'tired'. Lift. Really splendid Full English Breakfast. Kippers also offered. Very reasonable prices.

+1
St Heliers is only a few minutes ride from the port along the Victorian promenade.
Given a warm welcome on arrival by Dave and Sue, shown to my room by Mark, the son.
The single room did not have a sea view but was clean and tidy. As usual, I was concerned about getting a good nights sleep, but the bed was very comfortable, no noise and I was flat-out until morning. Room was en-suite with a decent shower.
Welcomed into the dining room and proceeded with a hearty breakfast and a good chat with the other resisdents.
The bar has a good atmosphere and is a great place to end the night.
Parking was not an issue during TT practice week and it's only a short walk up to the grandstand. The centre of Douglas is just a few minutes walk or jump on the horse-drawn trams.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The couple who run St Heliers are great, friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but very clean. The location is great, on the prom with sea views & within easy walking distance of the railways, bars and restaurants. If all you need is a breakfast and a comfortable bed for the night as opposed to a room to live in, this is the best value for money on the island.

Stopped here for 4 nights recently in the off season, excellent friendly owner, and although the decor is a little 'traditional' its a well kept and wonderfully clean place to stay. Breakfast absolutely fantastic and free wifi is a nice touch. Excellent value for money. Will be back again for sure!

My husband and I had 4 nights in the St Heliers and really could not fault it for the price. We had a lovely sea view and our en-suite room was clean and comfortable and tea/coffee making facilities were provided. Breakfast is freshly cooked and very good. The St Heliers is in an excellent position for getting around the island and trains and buses are efficient.

I couldn't speak greatly enough for the work that the owners put into making our stay very welcoming. They were extremely hospitable. Breakfast was incredible and there was a lot of choice on the hot menu as well as a buffet of fruits and cereal!
I was one of 40 edinburgh university students who were staying for the Isle of Man easter festival. The ferry was delayed the day we were leaving by 14 hours!! We were supposed to leave early on the Monday morning at 6am but didn't leave till 7pm.. The owners let us stay an extra day and cooked us a lovely breakfast - fed all 40 of us even when they weren't expecting too!! They let us leave our bags till we had to leave for the ferry and they were very understanding and accommodating and made what could have been a complicated situation very straight forward.
Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!

sorry not been on here for a while, there are some steep stairs up to the front door of the hotel but there is a lift inside to all floors, I would contact the hotel direct as there may be a second entrance, sorry for late reply
