We had a lovely time. Our room was very spacious and clean and tidy. En-suite shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast options were varied and well cooked. Full English, eggs etc through to just cereals if that was your requirements. The host, Ian was lovely a man very friendly and knowledgable regarding the area.

Perfectly located one the promenade 20 walk into Douglas town centre. Extremely friendly b&b, feels very homely and you certainly don’t go hungry at breakfast. All the guest are also friendly and helpful. Many have stayed here for yrs & are knowledgable about IOM which I found really helpful & enabled us to fit lots into our day. This B&B isn’t for everyone. If your after top of range with all the latest gadgets this isn’t for you. If you want friendly, nothing fancy with a homely feeling & approachable owners this place is for you. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

A long weekend to watch the Senior TT booked a few months ago. Sue and the team really looked after us. Basic rooms, but clean and comfortable, plus a great breakfast at a really good price. Hope to visit again next year.

Showers not working Bedding dirty Cob webs and dust everywhere Dry snot on wall Inside draws dirty( left over tobacco) Floor mucky ( not hoovered ) Window sill dirty Wall paper hanging off wall Bedding holes in and smelt Kettle dirty Tv and Wi-Fi Terrible. The building was very run down, the owner admitted to not hoovering our floor but I questioned if it had got cleaned at all in the last year it was shocking. I'd also question there fire doors which aint adequate as they is a huge gap between the floor and the doors which wouldn't class them as a fire door.the building wobbled too probs the best if I fell down. The breakfast member if staff was rude and the breakfast was poor. There is some photos attached of the 'hell hole'. I wouldn't be returning again and it put a real down on our holiday after being asked to still pay full asking price after being faced with the above.…

A delightful Guest House, with no better host than Sue, who together with her excellent staff looked after us very well. A very comfortable bedroom with tea, coffee makings, TV. no complaints at all. The breakfast had everything you could require, cereal's, fruit, full English, kippers (not for me) and several other choices. A thoroughly enjoyable lads 5 days, by lads I mean retired gentlemen. Excellent value for money. booked for next year.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The couple who run St Heliers are great, friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but very clean. The location is great, on the prom with sea views & within easy walking distance of the railways, bars and restaurants. If all you need is a breakfast and a comfortable bed for the night as opposed to a room to live in, this is the best value for money on the island.

Stopped here for 4 nights recently in the off season, excellent friendly owner, and although the decor is a little 'traditional' its a well kept and wonderfully clean place to stay. Breakfast absolutely fantastic and free wifi is a nice touch. Excellent value for money. Will be back again for sure!
