The only draw back we found was check in only started at 1700 and our booking agent hadn't told us but the landlady came out and sorted it. That out of the way I can only say everything else was excellent. Breakfast was a good selection and freshly cooked full English or Manx kippers which could be served with poached... More

We had booked for three nights but checked out this morning after two nights in spite of the fact we were made to pay for the three nights on arrival and no refund was given. On arrival at 2.45pm we were given room 5 we climbed the large number of stairs to find the room had not been touched since... More

We booked this last year when we found out we had not got a house for this year. So we went in for a coffee and got talking to the owner and asked if she was booked up for this year and she wasn't fully booked. So we booked 3 rooms and though we could not see them- the brochure... More

Located right on the seafront, this is a great place to have breakfast, lunch or diner. We didn't stay here but chose it as a place to eat. They seem to be able to produce whatever food takes your fancy. I had the late morning breakfast while another in our group had curried chicken on skewers with rice. The front... More

We stayed at the Acacia Boutique Hotel for two nights. We stayed in the Acacia Suite. The room is large and my daughter was accommodated on a double pull out sofa bed. She was made up as she is normally on a camp bed! The large bed we had was very comfortable. My husband actually said it was the best... More

So clean and tidy, refreshed daily ! Breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice and HOT food . We dined downstairs on this visit, the owner could... More

I stayed for dinner, bed and breakfast and had a lovely evening. The hotel is in a great location along the seafront. We stayed in Room 9 which had great seaviews of the promenade and beach. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable to sleep. We ate in the Thai restaurant attached to the hotel and... More

This hotel has come on in leaps and bounds since I last reviewed it in 2011 and I would now highly recommend it. We had a room with a sea view and what a view it was, we sat in the window for ages just watching the promenade and the beach. The same was true during breakfast which has also... More

We booked, for three nights, the suite which is a lovely spacious room with nice sea views and a large terrace, it has a large bathroom. Unfortunately when we returned to our room at 3.30pm on the second day, it had not been serviced. At breakfast they ran out of marmalade one day and the second day they had not... More
