My wife and I had an enjoyable stay. Yes, the hotel is an old but graceful building but with a high standard of service. It is in a good position on the seafront and within easy reach of excellent public transport. We found the horse drawn trams particularly useful and hope that they will be available again in 2017. We... More

Great room overlooking the atrium with plenty of space. I stayed as part of a tour group and the lovely staff couldn't do enough for us. The food was great and the breakfasts had plenty of choice. The location is lovely too, right on the sea front. Thank you!

As frequent visitors to the Isle of Man, this was our second visit to the Sefton, the first for two nights inJune the hotel seemed okay, but this time we had a very different experience Our stay was for 6 nights, when we left the same sweet wrappers were in the lift as when we arrived. After 5 nights we... More

This hotel is central to most things. It is quite old fashioned but decorated nicely. We went out to eat both nights. Very nice breakfast. We used this hotel as a base to look round the island. It is very near to the ferry. One of the restaurants we recommend is 24 north. We had an excellent meal there. We... More

I would recommend a sea view room. We had some cracking sunrises (see photo) and the room was spacious and well appointed. Helpful staff. Had (included) breakfast delivered to the room each day and excellent. Bathroom was spacious and well fitted out (although we had a free upgrade so maybe not all as good as ours). Good location on the... More

We stayed here last week for 5 nights. Check in was fast and friendly. We had 2 double rooms and we had asked for our room to be on a high floor. We checked my mum into a sea view room on floor 2. Beautiful room with huge bay window! We went up 2 floors to our room and were... More

We had a lovely large sea view room (212) with a bay window that had two arm chairs in it. A modern bathroom with plenty of toiletries and towels on a heated towel rail quite nice after a shower. The shower is a walk in shower not one over the bath, much more satisfactory for me, there is a bath... More

I have tried 3/4 times to contact the management of this property to discuss the unacceptable fact that they have bathroom doors which do not close. This clearly does not matter to them as they simply cannot be bothered to reply or even acknowledge my correspondence. In many years of travelling and sending clients all over the world in my... We were part of a party of nine "mature" friends. Hotel very well placed on the promenade and close to the harbour. A great advantage is that it has a car park, but negotiating inside it is tight and tricky. We had a room with sea view, large and well equipped, as was the bathroom; but this had a linear... More

Arrived by car for our 4 night stay. Found the carpark and the last available space. Parking is charged for so be prepared. (Blue badge holders free). Our Atrium room was good in most respects - large and hot, so needed to remove the thick duvet from its cover and sleep under the cover. The wetroom shower flooded the whole... More
