Stayed 3 nights, comfy bed, spotlessly clean, plentiful breakfast. Handy for electric tram, bus stop very close to get everywhere else. Thai, Chinese and pub nearby good for food. Very helpful staff happy to advise on transport, places to visit etc. Lift tiny but serviceable and a must when travelling with disabled mmum.

Short weekend stay. Lovely, comfortable room with an absolutely gorgeous view. I think we stayed in room 202. Breathtaking sea views, TV with a wide range of channels, teas & coffees with UHT milks and a kettle. Bathroom very small but convenient and shower nice and hot. Location is set in a cosy little street, ever-so-slightly hidden from the front... More

I would thoroughly recommend the Edelweiss Guest House. My self and my mother arrived about 10 in the morning. We were made very welcome with a cup off coffee and a chat while waiting on our room. It wasn't supposed to be ready until 14.00 but was made available to us by about 11.30. A big thank you to Shirley... More

Stayed there on the infamous TT-weekend. Pretty good location. Small room (and TV) but it was comfortable. Bathroom extremely small, but still ok. Don´t expect luxury, but expect a decent value-room. Friendly and nice staff. If I were to come again to Douglas I would consider going there again, as it´s not expensive and overall nice.

Great friendly place with a clean room and brilliant breakfast, the staff went out there way to help you. As a quaint little lift to help you get to top floors. A nice sea veiw room were you could watch the horse drawn trams stop ouside. It was just off the front were you could get a nights sleep without... More

It's at the far end of the prom but very close to the electric railway. their was plenty of busses, trams & horse drawn carrages to ferry us about though so it really wasn't a problem. friendly helpful staff, good atmosphere clean & tidy & comfortable beds, a decent buffet... Up at the end of the promenade about 20 mins walk from the centre. Great functions and amenities. Very friendly. Clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay here. Buses a stone throw away and beach also very close! Slightly rigid on checkin time but not a problem overall. Didnt eat here in the end.

A clean, no nonsense guesthouse with charming polite, helpful and professional staff. A pleasure to stay here and excellent value. Adjacent to transport links and ideal as a base for walkers. I would gladly stay here again. Good breakfast too and great value at £7.50 per head.
