We booked Sea View apartments down the road and was shocked at the accommodation. So we tried Ventnor Towers instead and was delighted with our well furnished family room. The breakfast was delicious and the staff really helpful. Our stay turned at Ventnor Towers saved our holiday on the Isle of Wight!

I have to be honest, although it does pain me as there are clearly reasons (the proprietor's health amongst other things) for the sorry state of this hotel. It is a grand byulding with great views out over the sea. The grounds are extensive (though neglected) ... and there's a pleasant walk down to the sea wall and along into...

Our family (2 grandparents, 2 adults, 2 young children) stayed for 3 nights at the Ventnor Towers in September 2016 and had such a disappointing experience. Sadly, the hotel is very run down and doesn't look as though any love or money has gone into it for at least 20 years. Clearly the owners simply can't be bothered and both...

We returned once more to this much loved friend. Comfortable, with a warm welcome this for us is more like visiting friends. Always good food, a good nights sleep on comfortable beds. We will be back!

This is very large old hotel which to be fair ha seen better days. But it is inexpensive, clean an shabby chic. The public rooms are comfortable and roomy. There is free parking for 15 or so cars. The rooms are fine with outstanding views. We had five of us served an excellent breakfast each cooked personally to choice. It may...

We stayed for 2 nights only, but we liked it there. True, it does need some TLC, and some money spent on it, but they made us very welcome, we loved our room ( room 7) and the views were amazing. The restaurant was not open in the evenings, and we never went to the bar, but we did have...

My wife and I stayed here 19 years ago, for our honeymoon, when it was a Best Western hotel. It was busier and standard for the corporate hotels of its time. 19 years later the hotel has changed, but in a timeless sense. Lets get the negatives out of the way. The hotel is in need for upgrading, some carpets...

My partner Pauline and I stayed at the hotel while visiting friends close by. Amazing time , the hotel allowed the friends to join us down at the pool. John and Pauline with the staff were fantastic hosts. Had a great stay. We had a great room with a fantastic view. The breakfast was great with cereal and a full...

Very friendly hotel, needs a good refurb & tlc, bit tatty as mentioned in other reviews. Spent afternoon in the pool, which you have to ask to be opened, but this wasn't a problem. Water was warm & clean. Tennis court was right beside pool with a huge apple tree between with hotels black & white cat sitting in beaches...

As other reviews state, this hotel does need a lot of work which is a real shame as there really is so much potential. However, it will always give you a warm welcome. It is a family run hotel with lovely home cooking, clean, incredible views and staff who will always go the extra mile!!
