We absolutely love Bedford Lodge and have recommended it to many of our family and friends. It is an oasis of calm in a hectic world. It has a homely feel, is spotlessly clean and with the most delicious breakfasts. Karena, the owner is a lovely lady and her and her staff give 100% to making their guests feel looked...

We stayed at Bedford Lodge for 2 nights in early November. We were met with a friendly warm welcome from Karina on our arrival and made to feel completely at home. The breakfasts were superb with everything you could possibly want - and the cooked elements were served hot - not something one could say of every B and B...

Stayed at Bedford Lodge for a long weekend and felt so at home. Our bedroom was on the top floor with a lovely seaside theme. It was small but adequate, and included an en-suite with bath. Breakfasts were really tasty. You could help yourself to tea and coffee, cereal, yogurt, etc, and then treated to a good sized full English....

A dog friendly lodge Bedford is an enchanting place. Tucked away in a wooded area with limited car parking. Pictures of the old Lodge dating back over 100 years show its history. There is plenty of common areas for you to relax and enjoy your fellow travelers. The bedroom a little tight especially with the old style furniture and our...

I cannot fault the Bedford Lodge in anyway. Everything was perfect. We were met by Karina as if we were long lost friends and that's the way it continued throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. The Bedford Lodge is very well placed in Shanklin, it has its own car park, and buses, Restaurants, shops and the Chine are...

Our rooms had everything- spotless & welcoming- & breakfast was...

Great location, staff friendly and helpful, very nice and cosy rooms. The breakfasts are wonderful. Second time we have stayed here and we will be returning on a regular basis. Situated right in the heart of Shanklin and next to the Chine, this is a perfect place to stay on the Island and there is nothing to complain about at...

We've been coming here for years and would recommend it without a second thought. You are trusted with a code to let yourself into the Lodge which means you can come and go at your leisure whatever the time. The staff are friendly, the breakfast is hearty and varied, and includes smoked salmon. Rooms are comfortable, you're close to the...

We stayed for five days and nights in mid-August. Great views, location and staff. Room was very clean and bright.spoilt for choice for breakfast. In the heart of Shanklin old Village. All the times we've been to Shanklin never knew it was there. Bedford Lodge has history and character. Would we stay there again, would we recommend, certainly.
