Excellent, worth every penny. Was able to check into a single room at 11pm, so quite I took sometime to drop to sleep. Clean, beautiful condition, down side fan in bathroom ran far to long. Breakfast is amazing everything for any nation, laid up with cloths and waitress service, all be it by foreigners. Pity I can't stay here longer,... More

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. The staff are so friendly and helpful. booked for 3 nights but on the day of arrival decided to stay for an extra couple of days. They changed the ferry crossing for us straight away and had no problem with us staying in the same room. The breakfast you are spoilt for choice great selection.... More

Following 7 months of chemo-and radio therapy for breast cancer, it was time for a break. The Marlborough Hotel provided comfortable and clean accommodation and a relaxing atmosphere. The location is close to the beach, the town and the old village all of which were easy to walk to, although we did cheat and use the Cliff Lift a couple... More

We had a very pleasant 3 night stay here and as we normally stay in the old village were a bit worried about trying somewhere different. We needn't have worried as the hotel is ideally situated between the shops, old village and the seafront. The owners were really friendly and our room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was one of the... More

A seaside hotel within a short distance from the cliff top view of the Solent. I booked a single room which was cheap, but unsatisfactory owing primarily to its size, especially in the bathroom. As you sat on the seat, you had the side of the sink very close to your waist. Having complained to the Manager, I was promptly... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it was ideally placed between the town of Shanklin and the seafront. The owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room we had no 20 was a large one on the back of the hotel, which was very clean. It maybe could do with a little up dating but... More

The Hotel is well situated for the 'Old Town,' Town Centre and sea front. Also within easy reach of a good bus service for all parts of the Island. Breakfast was 1st class. Some excellent places to eat within walking distance. Within easy reach of the sea front but steep walk down and back. No problem with reasonable level of... More

My mum daughter and I stayed here for 5 days in May. Before we even arrived I had spoken to the Manager/owner who kindly arranged our ferry return for us making a great saving. On arrival we had a warm friendly welcome the rooms were clean and bright not huge but we didn't plan on spending much time in them... More

I like this hotel, have stayed here twice. It's very clean, comfortable and peaceful, in an ideal location for pubs and restaurants/shops in Shanklin. There is ample parking, very friendly service, good choice of breakfast foods/drinks, and the hotel has a nice décor, comfy cosy bar/lounge etc. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped, plenty of towels and blankets....
