Stayed here with two friends while visiting the Island for the Buses and Beer event in October. The place has been transformed since we last stayed here around twenty years ago, when It was under different owners. The current proprietors, Vera and Martin, are a lovely couple, genuinely friendly and sociable, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for...

I spent a long weekend at Knight's Rest along with my son, his wife and my granddaughter, and I don't think I've ever felt so much at home. Martin and Vera were superb hosts, and I don't think it's an exagerration to say that we all think of them as friends now. When my 5-month-old granddaughter kicked off at breakfast,...

We stayed 2 nights in the Knight's Rest during our cycle holiday. We really enjoyed our stay there. The Guesthouse is owned by a very lovely couple. The room is very cosy and clean with everything you need. Breakfast is delicous and there is free bottled / drinking water in the main area. We could store our bikes safely in...

I can't thank the host enough for a fantastic stay at the Knights Rest. From the moment I arrived both Martin and Vera made me feel very welcome. The single room that I had was very unique to say the least (please do not change the lay out) . The breakfast has to be the best on the Island it...

My wife and I stayed at Knight's Rest earlier this month whilst visiting her family on the island. I'd been sleeping badly at home but had three nights of comfortable sleeping at Knight's Rest. "Come to Knight's Rest and have a good Night's Rest" they should say! Anyway, witty jokes aside, my wife and I had a very comfortable stay...

My family and I stayed here for one night and i can't tell you how lovely it was. From the moment we arrived, the owners Martin and Vera made us feel so welcome. We were greeted by a lovely couple who welcomed us with open arms. The room was very nice to sleep in with a television and a nice shower space too. The food was cooked fresh and they paid great attention to my partner and my dietary requirements. The only issue was the bed was a bit stiff, otherwise a truly...

I booked the Knight's Rest with a coupl've days to spare before the Jack Up the 80s concert on the Isle of Wight. I had the single room on the first floor. I was travelling on my motorcycle (cheaper ferry crossing) and I was made most welcome by Martin & Vera as soon as I arrived. They explained to me...

“I think whichever room you chose, you would not be disappointed as the back rooms would look over the back garden which looks as if it could be a real sun trap in the summer. There are loads of photos on the B&B website which are well worth a look.”
