Stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time. The room was clean and warm and very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, with so much to choose from and the welcome we received was incredibly warm and friendly. It made out visit to the island a memorable one and we have already booked to come back again next year.

We stayed at The Old Shanklin Guest House for 3 days in October. It is very tastefully decorated and comfortable with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. My highlight was definitely the breakfast with specials on the menu everyday from hotcakes to homemade waffles. The Guest House is situated very conveniently in Old Shanklin Village about 5 minutes walking distance from...

We recently stayed here for five nights. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and well-stocked with everything you might need. Gareth and Sarah were very friendly and helpful and recommended great places to eat. My husband loved the breakfasts - all delicious and difficult to know what to choose from such a vast menu! We would definitely stay here again...

We arrived on a very rainy afternoon a couple of hours early for checking-in, so braved the rain to explore the village and seaside. House is warm, well furnished, modern and very tidy and clean, we had the pleasure of staying in the Bonchurch Suite which was very generously proportioned and enjoyed the jet shower! Everything was well stocked and...

Hi Olivia, Thank you for your review. You did very well with the parking, as you've not been driving for long, thankfully the bollard is on our neighbour's side, so you don't want to hit that! Glad you enjoyed yourselves and we hope to see you back again. Kind regards Sarah

The Old Shanklin Guest House is located in a quiet street, close to the array of good restuarants and pubs that Old Shanklin has to offer. The welcome from Gareth and Sarah was very warm and we were shown to our room, which was generously proportioned, spotlessly clean and well fitted-out. As such, we were able to enjoy a good...

Lovely comfortable stay, lovely friendly couple. The breakfast choices were great and all very tasty. Would definitely go back again. Great shops and pubs near by, plenty of restaurants to choose from within a 5 minute walk.

We were made very welcome by Gareth & Sarah (tea & home-made cookies on arrival!), and were very well looked after for the duration of our stay. The house itself is very nicely finished, with modern fittings and the occasional retro touch, very homely. Our bedroom and en-suite were of a good size and nicely decorated. Breakfast was superb -...

We were made very welcome by Sarah and Gareth and enjoyed our welcome tea and home made biscuits in the guest lounge when we arrived. The décor in the guest house was lovely and our bedroom was very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the tasty breakfasts and were impressed with choice of food and the fact everything was home made. The...
