Did not expect to have to climb two flights of steep and narrow stairs to get to our room. Booking.com did not state this but in fairness to the proprietors - who were very good and friendly - we later found they were quite clear on their web site that there was no lift. Fabulous en-suite with ultra modern large... More

We stayed at the Fawley for a friend's wedding on the lovely Isle of Wight. The rooms must have been recently renovated as were extremely comfortable, well appointed, and clean. When we arrived, one of the first things we noticed were the multiple awards for 'best breakfast'. I must say, it could rival a luxury hotel. The breakfast menu was... More

I stayed here in February with two friends. The guest house is run by one of my friends family members. We were made to feel very welcome. Our room was a good size for three of us with a lovely bathroom. We also had a little kitchen at the end of the corridor that we didn't use but may come... More

Extremely friendly staff; the room was spotless and the hotel is very close to the beach. We all enjoyed the very tasty breakfast. Young children are well received. Would easily recommend to others. Overall very satisfied.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the fawley and it was excellent. We stayed here last year but hotel has changed owners since then but this time our stay was much nicer. Debbie Mark and Anna make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The fawley is spotlessly clean and the breakfast is... More

My daughter and I stayed one night here and wished it could have been longer. Pleasant room, clean and newly decorated. Good quality toiletries, plenty of hot water and a powerful shower. Then came the breakfast; certificates on the wall for excellent breakfasts didn't lie. Everything one could wish for, organic, local, freshly cooked to order if you wanted, but... More

Stayed for a weekend in August. Great hotel with friendly staff. My wife and son are Coeliacs and their hospitality was great. They were able to supply a gluten free full breakfast with G/F sausage and bread. They even gave us gluten free biscuits in our room. The room were very clean and the beds were really comfy. Would recommend... More

Our second visit within three years, different owners this time but thankfully we still had great service and an award winning breakfast to see us through till lunch time. The rooms were very clean and suited our needs with tea, coffee, chocolate and fresh water and biscuits each morning in our room, lots of storage in room 5 for us.... More

A nice little B and B with helpful owners close to the beach at Shanklin and town. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy and there is plenty of tea and coffee in the rooms. The breakfast in the morning is very good and make sure to take note of the daily specials...which we kept forgetting to look... More
