The rooms are very good the lounge /bar area is adequate breakfast is very good with a good choice but evening meals were disappointin as there wasn't a wide choice and the menu only gave you a basic description with no mention of what vegetables were served. The menu goes up in the lounge area late in the afternoon while... More

Stayed here with wife on a five day Parry's coach holiday. That got us off to a good start as driver was first class and very good dompany. Good hotel - clean, tidy and more than adequate for our needs. Food was good and well varied. Agree entirely that portions are large. Because of this I decided one evening that... More

We went on a coach holiday with Parrys. The welcome at this family run hotel was warm and genuine. All the staff were very friendly indeed. The rooms are spotless and the towels were changed every day. There are fans provided in case the room gets too hot. Wi-Fi did not work in our room (22) but works well in... More

What can I say - superb. Spacious clean rooms. Tea/coffee facilities ( sadly no biscuits! ). Towels changed daily. We had a welcome fan - weather hot and humid. No hairdryer- but available from reception. Wifi available in lounges. Lovely bar area but only open from 6pm. Decor tired in places but evidence of updates seen. Pool lovely and a... More

This was a quickly thought out last minute trip to shanklin for a much-needed rest. The hotel was clean and tidy just a bit too old fashioned for our tastes. The Victorian theme fitted the surroundings and the staff were pleasant enough. For £80 for the night I felt it was acceptable but I was a bit disappointed with the... More
