Just returned from a one night stay with my boyfriend and we cannot complain about our stay whatsoever, booking it on the other hand was an absolute nightmare! My parents bought us a Groupon deal with hot tub suite last year for our birthdays in April and due to the extent of how great the deal took off, we couldn't...

We stayed at the hotel for my birthday weekend. My boyfriend booked it and we got a good deal with the stay. We opted for the John Muir suite, the best in the hotel and it was lovely. A very spacious and grand looking room with bay windows and a fantastic view. The only thing that let it down was...

My girlfriend surprised me with a night away here and we were both pleasantly surprised. The room was lovely and the hot tub even better, the only thing that let it down was the outside door was broken and wouldn't close but apart from that small thing, it was excellent. Spent Boxing Day Evening at the Bayswell and had a lovely time. The seaview room was very comfortable and the evening meal and breakfast were excellent. We felt very welcome on what must have been the end of a busy and tiring period for the staff. We will be returning.

Arrived on a really cold night and were shown to our table in the conservatory which was all cosy with the heaters on, lovely to sit in there and watch the fishing boats going into the harbour with there catch. Ordered...

Went to Bayswell hotel for dinner, wasn't staying in hotel, friendly welcome from the guy in reception who also showed us to the restaurant and got our drinks. Then the emotionless funeral director arrived! who must of been the manager as he had a suit on. He was hovering around, staring uncomfortably in the dim light all the time, white...
