i booked the redcliffe hotel due to its stunning location - right in the middle of two great beaches right on the seafront with water lapping right up to the hotel walls. i was going on holiday with 2 OAP'S, 1 42yr old and a 9 yr old girl and i was a little worried that the hotel would suit... The rooms could do with some serious up dating. Water in the room would have been a nice touch, the floor boards are extremely squeaky and yes it is an old building, but the noise it quite bad. The bathroom is clean, but the shower not very powerful. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and the staff... More

Had never visited before so didn't know what to expect. Was lovely to arrive and find parking on site. All the sea view rooms were booked so it was a plesant surprise to find we had a view all along Preston Sands. Our room was lovely and clean and appeared to have been refurbished recently. We had booked breakfast with... More

Our first impressions of the hotel were that it was dated and maybe a little 'Fawlty Towers'. These were very soon changed by the warm welcome from the reception staff. The room was maybe a little small but everything was as it should be. Apart from the [ horrible] coffee, breakfast was very good and served efficiently by a lovely... More

Booked to stay at the Redcliffe Hotel for four nights. Our family group had a double room with a connecting single, a twin room and a single room. The hotel managed to give us rooms next to each other which particularly pleased us. From the start we were incredibly impressed with the fantastic views as the hotel is right onto... More

The staff were their usual helpful friendly selves a pleasure to be with them for 9 days. Rooms as always comfortable and well appointed. Roll on 2017 for our... More

What a fabulous few days we have had! My husband and I have just returned from a 3 night stay with our 3 year old son. Our room was perfect! We stayed in room 20 which is a family room. The room was a generous size with a seperate room for our son. Both rooms had its own freeview which... More

We found this hotel on a comparison website rang about an inquiry and got a better deal with Breakfast. The hotel was more impressive than we'd have though, and for what we paid the view we had was breath taking. Everything was clean, decor was up together. The restaurant was perfect. A little gem in Paignton.
