Came this weekend the hospitality is great, lovely views and staff can't do enough for you. Would definitely stay again if in the area Right near the centre of Torbay down very quiet road. Breakfast was lovely they do cream teas, breakfasts and lunches as well open to the public

I've just spent 11 days at this charming hotel with my three Poodles in tow. My husband joined us on the weekend. Louise Jones, who owns the hotel is on hand 24/7 to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible! Great attention to detail with comfortable rooms, lovely breakfast area overlooking Preston beach, cosy lounge area to hang... More

Thank you so much Kim, it was a pleasure to meet you and I appreciate the lovely feedback! The dogs were as good as Gold, as was Jan ... Hope to see you again in the future, maybe when the dogs can run free on the beach? (I have towels I keep especially for wet & sandy doggies) More

Stumbled on the tea rooms and had a spontaneous cream tea. Delightful. Lovely service, decaf tea without extra charge. Dog welcome. Gorgeous decor and especially friendly staff. We are staying self catering in Paignton but would certainly consider the hotel for a stay in the future. Very welcoming.

My first visit to Torbay Sands Hotel, and stayed 7 nights. Louise and Becky are really friendly. Breakfast in the conservatory is made even better by the fantastic views over the bay. Room clean and spotless. Location is very handy for local buses all across Torbay and surrounding area.

Amazing Views from our hotel room and from the conservatory where you eat your breakfasts or stop for a coffee. Extremely friendly host! My partner and I stayed for 3 nights which was originally suppose to be just the one. So happy we extended our stay. The room was big enough for two people to stay in with a nice... More

We held our wedding reception in the vintage tea rooms. The sea views from the tearoom are breathtaking. Louise, the manager made it such a special day, so kind and thoughtful. Such attention to detail and amazing home cooked food. With the lounge area attached, it made for such a relaxed and happy atmosphere. We couldn't have asked for anything... More

We booked a table for Sunday lunch and enjoyed every moment. Three roasts available, beautifully cooked by the owner Louise and served with every attention by Becky. My partner's 91 year-old mother is a connoisseur of Sunday roasts and didn't stop raving over it ! Then to the 4" high lemon meringue pie ! Melt-in-the-mouth is not overstated. We've also... More
