Hans the owner is very helpful and advised on things to see and do.Property is on a very quiet residential cul de sac,is 10 mins walk from train and bus station which are opposite each other.Room was clean, beds changed daily, towels changed when needed The shower is a bit small for a large person,,there is a chest of drawers, built in wardrobe with lots of hangers,tv,tea and coffee, milk etc and cookies each day. There is a very small mini fridge in toom can hold about 6 small bottles of water. Please note there was no room available to freshen up after check out, as manager had already cleaned rooms for arrival of new clients. The no 12 bus from bus station runs every 10 mins,to Torquay,Brixham and Babbacombe. Get Torbay Day rider ticket adult £5.00,child £2.50 buy from driver hop on and off all over Torbay. There is a Harvester on beach front. We ate at a nice Italian Family run restaurant called Mediterraneo it's on Torbay Road, which is busy with places to eat, next to Charlie's cafe, breakfast and lunch excellent, the Italian ice cream mouthwatering and huge.We went next door to Charlie's but found premises smelt of stale oil and too many people with dog's, as I am allergic had to leave.i will definitely stay at B and B if I go to Paignton again and tell my friend's.

A nice little guest house, Hans the owner is hard working, friendly and helpful. Excellent and varied breakfast every morning, room was clean and comfortable (and some, including ours, even had a fridge, a considerate and welcome touch during recent hot weather!). While there is limited parking (2 spaces) at the front of the guest house, you can reverse down the narrow lane behind the place and park there. If you're not great at driving in reverse, Hans will even offer to do it for you! He's such a star and he made sure we had a pleasant week in a beautiful part of England. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay there too! Thanks again Hans!

A good, economical B&B close to the shops and seafront at Paignton. The bedroom (No.5) was outstandingly good: still and sparkling bottled water, snippet sea views, and really good quality accessories like thick loo paper and liquid soap. Inevitably noisy neighbours - seagulls! Excellent breakfast but dining room a bit dark. Very helpful staff

I had to travel to paignton for children's week with an American truck called optimus prime and I decided to stay for two nights. I was running late due to traffic and very poor signs from torbay council regarding a low bridge but even though I arrived after the alloted time the hosts were fantastic. I was given room 7 top of the house with en-suite. I was given the keys and I paid for my trip. I then went out and returned late but this was not a problem... Lovely breakfast even though NOT ordered the night before... Strongly recommend and will be staying again... Thank you :-)

Accessibility - Far enough away such that you cannot hear the touristic rabble typical of seaside resorts. Situated in a cul-de-sac which is yards away from the back of Victoria Park and the town centre. The establishment is not suitable for wheelchair users due to no lift and narrow porchway. Room (3) - On arrival, very clean, free of dust, plenty of towels, suitable bedding for summer, twin beds and en suite shower, lots of storage space, large plasma TV and tea/coffee tray replenished regularly. Rubbish was removed daily, and towels replaced when required. The bedding was changed half-way through our 10-night stay. The bed mattresses are soft which we grew accustomed to (usually prefer hard/firm). The only thing which may be an issue to light sleepers is the daily early morning dawn chorus of seagulls, and can be resolved by wearing earplugs (like BioEars or similar). Breakfast - Brilliant! My vegan requirements were satisfied (cereal or muesli, plus vegan sausages, hash brown, tomato and mushrooms, almond milk for coffee and cereal, and 100% maple syrup for vegan toast). My partner had the full works and was easily pleased. As long you inform the host (Hans) in advance of any specific dietary needs or preferences, he would endeavor to meet your needs at the breakfast table. The dining room itself is quite cosy, with well-laid out tables. Breakfast usually served 0830-0930 (except Sunday 0900-0930), and performed very efficiently. The host (Hans) - A Top Guy who is quiet, unassuming and helpful with a bundle of humour inside. Gradually throughout our stay, we were able to interact with Hans at the breakfast table (when it wasn't so busy). It was great to talk about anything and everything with him. He also suggested suitable places of interest to visit which proved useful. On our last day we were sad to say goodbye though.

Excellent B&B. Rooms very clean and breakfast exceptional. Good location for the town centre and also to the esplanade. Would definitely use this B&B again when next in the area. Hans was a very congenial host and provided us with valuable information about the area.
