Nice friendly atmosphere from the owners. The hotel is based opposite the main sea front and close to local amenities. The room we stayed in was comfortable and had the basic facilities we needed. One suggestion would be to check water temperature of the shower in room 5, this was very hot, but did not impact our stay. Breakfast was lovely and we were surprised this was not an extra but was in with the main room price Great Quality !. We have never visited Paignton before but certainly will again and will look to see if the cherry tree has vacancies.

A lovely B&B so friendly and welcoming have everything you could possibly need right near seafront close to everything. We went for a long weekend me my husband and 3 children 11/5/6 months and when we asked for some washing up liquid so we could clean babies bottles before going in cold steriliser they even offered to wash them up for us but we refused and just asked for a pot of washing up liquid which they got straight away for us. So accommodating and we can’t wait to go back for a visit in the summer holidays.

I enjoyed my stay at the Cherry Tree. We were welcomed by the host on arrival and there were clear instructions given. The breakfast booking link was good enabling a choice from the menu for each day. Alan and Trish were great hosts and the breakfast was always excellent with local bacon and eggs included. Definitely would consider staying again. It’s also in a good location and with free off road parking. I am diabetic, so needed spare insulin stored in the fridge all week, this was no issue when I asked Alan on arrival. A thoroughly good week away!

This charming hotel along Paigntons sea front is a little gem! Its run by an amazing family who are so welcoming, you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. Rooms are clean and 'roomy' a nice size and comfortable bed. Its well organised and by ordering your breakfast the day before its all ready for when you sit down the next morning. Alan is a great host and makes sure you have everything. Trish's breakfasts are very tasty and perfectly cooked. Good hosts, good food and good comfort! What more do you need!

Never stayed at The Cherry Tree Hotel before but enjoyed my time here immensely. Trish was an excellent Hostess and the whole team were all extremely welcoming. Couldn't fault cleanliness of the rooms and breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Top Marks Guys keep up the good work

I've titled this Pink Palace as the building stands out on the Esplanade and can quite easily be spotted from the Torquay to Brixham ferry ! Trish and her family run a splendid hotel and a warm welcome awaits. Our room (21) was on the second floor overlooking the sea. it wasn't a huge room but was adequate and clean. The breakfast is superb and nothing is too much trouble. Order what you want the day before and it is all cooked fresh and is very filling. We stayed for 3 nights at the end of June.

We arrived at The Cherry Tree Hotel on the 27th June, to a really warm welcome. We didn't have a front room unfortunately the hotel was full, but our room was very clean and the bed was really comfy, we also had tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was amazing and set us up for day. Trish is a lovely lady and nothing was too much trouble. Trish and her family make this hotel one place you would not hesitate to go back for another holiday.

Stayed with family for 8 nights, had a great time, the family looked after us like we was one of the family. Breakfast was fabulous the best scrambled eggs ever. Rooms spotless, very well organised in what are very difficult times with COVID, felt very safe with measures in place.

We have just returned place to stay as usual. Alan and Trish were so welcoming even to running us to Rail Station. Breakfast was so good It is a great place near to Beach and Shops. Short walk to Rail and Bus station. Have Booked for nexgt year.
