Worst hotel room I have ever seen, never mind stayed in. Shower room, mouldy dirty black grout all around the shower tray, tiles and doors, it was that dirty we couldn't bring ourselves to stand inside so it was a quick wash in the sink and I mean a quick wash! Ceiling wallpaper falling off, dirty and tea stained doors... More

Good points - location fantastic. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Owner friendly especially with my 3 year granddaughter. Less good points - grouting in shower terrible, discoloured and very badly applied. Breakfast a bit mean, nice sausage and bacon, two bits of mushroom, half a tomato, small spoon of beans, undercooked egg and fried bread. Cheapest bread and orange juice,... More

We needed three double rooms for a one night stay in August, for a family birthday party. This is a big ask in August! The Travel Lodge was available, but at over £120 per room. a little pricey. The Seahaven is very basic, one of the rooms very small, but for what we needed was fine. The breakfast was freshly... More

This has to be the worst b&b i have stayed in. Room very basic, shower screen was black, out of date milk for tea and coffee.Bedside lamp not working properly had to lift it up and tilt to turn it on.Breakfast no choice for children . On arrival the owner was very grumpy no hello how are you only got "have you... More

Only positive thing was a very nice breakfast. I definitely won't stay there again as the bathroom was dirty - grime on walls, dust across shower tops and mess around toilet. Plus bathroom door wouldn't open fully as not enough room with bed so close and the wall paper on ceiling was coming off. Not ideal for the £118 I... More

We were very hesitant about staying here as the reviews were negative about staff and the B and B as a whole. However, we were greeted by a friendly, welcoming man who was helpful with parking. (free parking between 6pm and 8am outside the B&B) Lovely staff serving breakfast. Clean and big room. Free wifi. Kettle and mugs. It was... More

We only stayed here for one night, which after staying for, I was very relieved about. We only paid 40 pound for the night so might say you can't complain at that price but there's so much wrong with this place, I would've paid double not to have stayed here if anywhere else had been available. In brief, owners are... More

When we arrived at sea haven we parked in the multi story car park (£8 for 24 hours) we then walked to the hotel which is about 2 mins away from the car park .so it is in a great location litrally a 2 min walk from the seafront also .our room was filthy ,and very very dated.but we only... More

Stayed one night, had two rooms. My daughter was running in Torbay half marathon, and we wanted to be rested for the morning. Both rooms were small and compact, but clean and tidy. Everything we needed for a good nights sleep. We're impressed with the value for money. We enjoyed a very good full English breakfast, and found the hosts... More

Very lukewarm welcome. Bathroom really filthy! The room itself is in need of a proper clean and redecoration. Room very small, I.e. Bathroom door doesn't open fully as the bed is in the way. Seagulls kept us awake most of the night, the bed was not very comfortable and the pillows really smelt of other people! There was no wifi... More
