Stayed for 1 night! Reception staff friendly and chatty esp at 3 am as waiting for our pizzas!! Lol...Room was clean and basic, beds in Wetherspoons hotels are so comfy!! Love them! Basically only 1 complaint....when on the loo lost count how many times burnt...More

We stayed for one night whilst in the area. We checked in early which was a nice bonus. Check in was very friendly and quick. Room was basic but had everything you needed. Hairdryer iron and ironing board. Shampoo and soap.. Extra pillows were provided....More

I would say it's about 1 mile give or take to the center of Wigan. About 15-20 minutes walk, easy to do (without bags). There are also city buses that will take you between 'downtown' and the hotel.

Depending on the route taken between 6.5 and just over 8 miles and would need to go through the town centre. There is a travel lodge much closer at Piele Road Haydock
