Paddy and Richard are great hosts, our room was bright overlooking a lovely garden , exceptionally clean, tea/ coffee facilities in room , lovely big bathroom, breakfast made to our liking and requirements , good location (though if less mobile it is on a hill), would highly recommend this B+B ,

We were the only guests so a bathroom was at our disposal. Lovely quiet and light room overlooking the back garden. The on street parking is tight and is £10 per day. Our car was scraped slightly by another car. But that's the downside of parking so close to the great city centre. The upside is the two great restaurants...

First impressions weren't good because this B&B is on a hill, with heavy traffic going down into the city centre, and parking meters charging £10 per day (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Ringing the doorbell elicited frantic barking from inside the house and, as soon as the door was opened, two excited dogs rushed out to greet us. I'm not...

This is a gorgeous Georgian Townhouse very close to Durham City Centre, run by two designers who clearly love the place. We occupied a lovely modern room at the back of the house (south facing, away from the street) and enjoyed a modern bathroom. We overlooked their town garden. We had expert and experienced advice on where to eat, and...

The guest room is light and spacious, overlooking a secluded rear garden. Everything is beautifully provided, as you would hope to find it, including a private white bathroom with bath and power shower. The tasty breakfast is taken...

66 Claypath is a quaint B&B with friendly hosts, Richard & Paddy & their two friendly 'wild beasts', Annie & Georgie. The B&B is centrally located, an easy short walk downhill to the main square & winding cobbled streets that lead to gems such as the Durham Cathedral. The B&B has a Georgian facade but is actually set on a...

The food is all top quality, and very fresh. especially the fresh herbs served with the breakfast. Lovely place to stay, very clean, food was good and the owners friendly and helpful. Loved there being a dog about the house. Location was excellent. The only problem is the lack of parking. You have to pay to park on the street outside which could be quite costly over several days.
