I'm still in this baron and godforsaken and forgotten place. I wish I was elsewhere. There's at least 3 people in the normal bar high on cocaine (I was offered a reasonable deal on a gram or two by the supplier). Drives a Nissan Navara. I booked at 4am this morning, knowing I had to be in the north east...

I stayed at the HMH whilst visiting family in Durham. Its a nice enough hotel with friendly local staff but it is in need of an update in certain areas. I stayed in room 3 which is at the top of the main stairs and first on the left. The room itself is nice enough once the radiator kicks in...

The initial look of this hotel is lovely and we had the warmest welcome by the friendliest receptionist ever. We were warned there was a function on and so there would be noise till 12, but this did not bother us at all. The meal we had here was fantastic, freshly cooked and piping hot. Reasonably priced and plenty of...

We have spent many Christmas's and held numerous special event / birthday celebrations there. Today is a sad day as we have learnt that the Maitre'd (John) is leaving the company. I would...

The staff especially Christine and John are...

Stayed here for 2 nights on business. On night 1 I arrived at about 10.30 and the room was absolutely freezing. There was no heating on and no way to put any on even though it was only 7 degrees outside. There was no shower, only a bath without any form of shower head attached. I complained in the morning...
