Stayed one night 11th Sept following a family funeral. On arrival between 2 & 3pm we were informed that the hot water was off due to a fault and it would be restored "within the next hour or so." The hot water was not restored until after 7pm. This was an inconvenience to say the least, although there was nothing...

My fiancé, myself and our friends stayed for two nights. We found the rooms go be newly decorated and bedding was great but cleanliness of the bathroom surfaces needs to be better, plenty of hairs in various places. Maid service also needs work as they took two dirty towels and only left us one also our extra milk and tea...

Our room was fresh, clean and modern. Large sofa bed to relax on also. We requested a flat sheet for under duvet which was happily provided. The room was very hot unfortunately but we were provided with a fan. The location was close to Durham town and close to Barnham castle which was well worth the visit.

Never stayed here before but everone and everything was brilliant, staff, rooms (recently refurbished), meals, parking. Absolutely no complaints and we don't see how anyone could possibly have any complaints. We would definately recommend Durham North and will certainly go back again.

A good place to stay almost next door to a retail park with some of the main name stores, but also within easy access to Beamish Museum, the Angel of the North and of course Durham. The hotel had its own Brewers Fare restaurant which did a great breakfast and also a good selection on the menu for evening food with...

We have used Premier Inns before and found this one in a good location being very quiet away from traffic. Husband found the bed too hard but that is personal preference, i myself was ok with it. The staff were all very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

I stayed in room 138 and although we had enjoyed a warm day compared with the rest of the 2015 Summer, this room (facing the pub) was boiling hot throughout the time I occupied it. Apparently Whitbread built the extension scrimping on the air conditioning so you have to make do with a fan and 25 degrees at 1am is...

Despite the satnav sending us to the Ind Est stores we eventually found the Inn location & enjoyed an extremely pleasant 2 night stay in a very clean, spacious room, with a wonderfully comfy bed & superb facilities & provisions! The breakfast at the Brewers Fayre (a few yards away) was plentiful with a fantastic choice, well presented & extremely...

My 2nd time in Premier inn, we stayed for 6 nights. We had a lovely stay, can't complain about anything. We were out most of the time anyway and come back in the evening. Room was always clean when we came back. There is a shopping center close to the hotel, very convenient. We stopped there many times to get...
