Ideally located for a short walk into the center of Durham. Parking limited as there is also a restaurant next door and they share the parking area. rooms were really warm and there was no way to cool them except have door open, which wasnt' very private!

We stayed here two nights. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was in the annexe - not as pleasant as the main building but perfectly OK. There is the added advantage that parking is available at the front door of the annexe. We had a ground floor room overlooking the lawned area. Although there are few immediate nearby... More

A friend and I stayed here for two nights during a city break. The hotel was well located, only a 10 minute walk to the city centre. The room was clean and a good size. The staff was friendly and helpful, bring a hair dryer to the room the upon request.

Excellent Travelodge with a short walk to the city centre. Very friendly and warm welcome by staff and most helpful in recommendations on where to eat. This was the nicest Travelodge we have stayed in and ticked all the boxes

Good location, lots of parking and close to city centre. Rooms clean and spacious. The hotel is a listed building because it used to be a old railway station. Italian restarant attached which always seem busy in the Evening. Would defiantly use again, but wish WiFi was free.
