Stayed all over the UK and always opt for Premier Inn. You know the room will be clean, comfortable and reasonable food at acceptable prices. Barnstaple did not disappoint. The rooms do not have a/c but windows do open and fans are in every room. Staff go out of their way to help. If visiting West Devon a good family... More

I was once a very strong advocate for Premier Inn but more recently I can't seem to make up my mine and this visit has not swayed me in either direction. The hotel is fine, the staff were polite, checking was quick, the parking is plentiful. We stayed for three nights and other than a nasty looking stain on a... More

Can't fault premier inn staff were lovely and friendly. The restaurant attached unfortunately shocking. Took 25 minutes for my family of 3 to get drinks when my husbands beer arrived it was flat and when he complained the bar staff said "we thought it might be" and we waited even longer for the food. The food was shocking and considering... More

We stayed for one night, it was a great night sleep bed and pillows were just right. Room was great size. Tv and facilities are great. Breakfast was nice and such a wide variety of things definitely something for everyone. Only thing I was disappointed in is that there is no option for early check in and we needed to... More

Premises ok restaurant soulless and too pub like. Breakfast left a lot to be desired especially the so called FRESH fruit salad. Not the best (or the worst Premier Inn we have used. Ok as a quick stopover.

We use premiers inns quite frequently. Decided on a few days away to visit north Devon. It's not the best premier inn we have stayed in.. The room we had was very dark and smelt dreadful, we did wonder why the fan and the window was open when we arrived, but overall staff pleasant and the table table pub attached... More

We've stopped here a few of times now, and always had a good experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms very spotless, the beds made up nicely, the TV was large. We also had tea and coffee making facilities. They've also removed the photos of Lenny Henry which lets me sleep better at night too. Overall it's... More

Stayed here for a weekend in June and the hotel was ok in itself. The toilet seat was broken and I reported it but nothing was done despite promising to get it fixed. The Table Table restaurant though was a disaster both nights First night only one meal was ordered so my wife and I had to easy,"one after the... More

Spent three nights here last week - because of the heat we found the bedroom had the curtains drawn and a fan on in an attempt to keep the room cool. Everything very clean and tidy and staff were helpful. We had breakfast in the pub next door and one evening had a bar meal - both very good. Hotel... More
