Stayed for 3 nights with my family on a short break to visit the beaches etc. The room was average for a PI, but very warm as they have no air con. We had the window open with curtains closed during the day, and left the window open at night with a fan on, but it was still very warm.... More

I'm a big fan of the premier inn and this one was up to the same standards. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The hotel is worth a stay but find an alternative place to eat because the Barum Gate pub next door is poor and dirty. I have reviewed this seperately if you wish to read about it.

Stayed with my 8 year old daughter for a week and we had another enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. A problem we had with the bath tap was resulted the next day and they offered for us to move rooms so cannot say fairer than that. The breakfasts in the neighbouring... More

breakfast staff on 2 different mornings were excellent, friendly, professional and eager to please, one morning 7am while empty, one while 9am busy. Room on one of Augusts wet cool nights was warmer inside than out, staff already knew this and previous posts on here had warned me but feeling is beleiving :)

Just had three nights here, family room for four. The room was so small that there was no room to walk between the beds and you had to physically clamber up onto your bed which wasn't fun in the night. One hand towel for four people, not great when you have teenage girls! No spare pillows provided. The staff were... More

Spent two nights at this hotel and have been staying for many years. The hotel is great and the staff really helpful. What lets it down is the Table Table restaurant next door. Food is in my opinion badly sourced and sold at top prices. My wife and me ordered Sirloin Steaks at £15 each, and they were so tough... More

This was the second Premier Inn stay in a tour of Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. Hotel was clean and up to Premier Inn usual standard. I simply could not get over the fact that there was not a single spare pillow in the whole hotel and therefore we had to sleep on the single almost totally flat offering in the... More

This is the best Premier Inn I have ever stayed at. All the staff throughout were excellent in every way. Will definitely be staying here again. Would just like them to add air conditioning to the rooms as they were very warm.

We arrived late for a party after being stuck on the M5 for ages, we quickly got changed when we arrived and on leaving to go in a taxi to our party, Danny who had greeted and checked us in us at reception noticed that my daughter was now wearing a birthday 11 badge on her dress as it was... More

Really friendly staff who were extremely helpful. Hotel is a little out of town which means catching a bus that goes "round the houses" (literally) or a 25 minute walk. Decent sized rooms. No air con but a fan was provided which just about did the job. Breskfast was rather slow and restaurant seemed understaffed.
