Easy to find at the top of the high street, just a short stroll from the station. Ideal central position, very helpful staff. Restaurant food very good and excellent value (imho). Large double room very comfortable (busy side alley outside, but it's a town centre location so we expect some late night whooping and hollering). Excellent powerful shower and v...

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for a weekend break. We could not fault the hotel nor its staff and their attentiveness and the levels of service generally. Our standard en suite room was cosy but very clean and well presented. Dinner at £20 per person for 3 courses with coffee was very good value. The only mater...

Decided to stay in Barnstaple to visit some of North Devon. Hotel is right in the town centre so walking distance to local shops. We booked a standard room and we're lucky enough to get one of the newly decorated rooms which was very pleasant 😄

One night stop. Booked on comparison site. Not the cheapest but seemed good value. Booking in was fine - very polite receptionist. Asked if I could eat there and was offered 2 choices, bistro or restaurant. Opted for the bistro - table booked! Room very clean and warm. This is a town centre hotel, so not surprised there was no...
