Rooms have a modern yet warm/cozy feel -- sort of zen like. Extremely comfortable bed, with several different types of pillows that let you find the one that's just right. Complimentary car service within 3 miles of the hotel. Very responsive front desk staff and drivers. Nice CO Bigelow toiletries. Shower was great--water pressure excellent when using the handheld shower... More

Overall a comfortable stay. Good bathrooms, flat screen TV, comfortable beds. No central heating in my room but electric heater provided. Its basically an Inn with rooms above a pub. However a few areas of disappointment: - Room was in need of some TLC. Damaged carpet, missing knobs on wardrobe furniture and light bulb needed replacing. - I was refused... More

We have just returned from our first visit to Barrow and I can honestly say that we couldn't have chosen a better hotel for our stay. It's a pub so you have to expect that it is going to have some noise but it didn't bother us at all. We have 3 children under the age of 6 and they... More

Positives: the staff were lovely and the breakfast was hearty. Negatives: We were on the third floor up (very narrow and steep stairs) but the noise from the pub was unrelenting and continued until midnight both nights we were there. No sleep at all for any of us, particularly my young daughter who was frightened when something that sounded like... More

A small hotel not far from the high street. Straightforward rooms, clean and bright. Lots of regular guests working in the town, so almost a sense of community. Very helpful. I left a book in my room. Not only did they find it but they posted it to my home address the other end of the country. Not sure all... More
