Lovely, friendly and helpful service. The room was good and clean. Bathroom and toilet were not en-suite but we knew this prior to booking and worked out fine. Breakfast was nice and always served with a smile.

I would love to tell you what this hotel was like but I didn't get past the door. I called at 20:00 hours explaining we were stuck in traffic after a car accident on the M6. The lady told me we couldn't get in after 20:00 hours. So we had to book somewhere else (despite never detailing this in my... More

I've read the reviews below and had we not booked a family room for my wife and I and our 4 year old son we would have agreed with the positive reviews posted. This establishment seems to have a children should be seen and not heard policy, we booked in with an excited 4 year old who didn't settle until... More

When i first come up to your room to ask you to keep your son quiet it was after 10pm and it was due to the guest next door who had complained about the noise and asked the landlady next door to have a word with us when you answered the door it looked like you had been asleep and... More

A group of six of us, two groups of three, stayed in two rooms for two nights. We enjoyed our experience. The property is located off the main drag in Bowness so is pretty quiet. Karen, the owner, was very pleasant and made good breakfasts. She had a system, which seemed logical to us, of having guests fill out pre-order... More
