Recommend this hotel for couples not families. It is set in lovely gardens well away from the hustle and bustle but not far away from the attractions. Bedrooms are comfortable and we had a lovely view at the back of the gardens and we could see the lake. Staff were very nice and friendly. The food is very good with...

Had a lovely nights stay DBB in a cosy room. Rooms are lovely with everything you need but the highlight for me was the food. Dinner Started with canapés is the bar, then onto the amouche Bouche before your 3 course meal and breakfast didn't disappoint either. Would definitely return.

The building is set in its own grounds with sight of the lake. on entering the lobby the floor is original parquet with a lovely staircase, with a 'Harry Potteresque' loo hidden under the stairs. The receptionist went out of her way to make us feel welcome and insisted on carrying my bag upstairs. The room was spotless and tastefully decorarated...

This is a superb hotel in a secluded, woodland setting with views from the rear towards Lake Windermere. It is full of old world charm, but also has the best of modern fittings and decor. The room was comfortable enough, with a nicely fitted out bathroom, including an actual bath! Good hot drink making families with homemade biscuits was a...

We have just returned from a two night stay at The Ryebeck with friends who had booked the hotel for their wedding. It was the first of what we are sure will be many visits. Located within easy reach of Lake Windermere and the South Lakes this is a fabulous, country house hotel which is ideal as a wedding venue...

The staff are first class and very helpful, it is difficult to fault the hotel. The rooms are clean and with excellent tea coffee and hand made biscuits. We didn't eat at the hotel having seen the portion size the food looked really nice but not value for money. That said everything else about this hotel is first class

We hired the Ryebeck Hotel for our ceremony, wedding breakfast, a relaxing evening, and overnight accommodation for our 40 guests. We were delighted with the outcome. Our guests said how much they had enjoyed their stay. They particularly mentioned the lovely setting, the quality of the bedrooms, and the quiet professionalism of the staff.

Food and service were excellent. The venison and cheese board were of Michelin star standard. The pork main course was also incredibly good and put Hestons to shame! We were really well looked after by everyone. We didn't stay here but will defiantly book to do so next year. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Excellent package deal for 2 nights. Easy to find, plenty of parking. 2 couples - we stayed in the 2 annex rooms - which was great for us. Rooms clean & very comfortable. Tea tray with thoughtful touches. Bathrooms well equipped, plenty of hot water. Very friendly, helpful staff. Dinner menu very creative, food quite delicious. Wide choice at breakfast....
