Loved this place, the food was delicious and the staff were very accommodating! Couldn't have asked for more for a romantic stay here :) The only downside was it was a little out of Bowness and the road wasn't really safe to walk, but taxi would be fine and not massively far by car so this is easily overcome :)

Had an excellent lunch with outstanding service. Food was nicely presented with a wide range of flavours. Gardens are lovely and our table looked out onto them with the lake behind. 5 stars out of 5!!

Stayed at this country house for 3 nights bed and breakfast. Very quiet location and near to the village of Bowness. Staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble, all staff were pleasant and clearly oozed customer service. The breakfast had plenty of choice and was always freshly cooked and made to your preference. We would definitely stay... More

We stayed here for one night a couple of weeks ago. We stayed here when it was The Fayrer Garden and really enjoyed it so we're keen to give it a try again. We were not disappointed. This is an independent, we'll run hotel where the staff really take pride in their hotel. We had a lovely room (Room 1)... More

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at the ryebeck. The staff were lovely. Food fantastic. Rooms immaculate. Not a bad word to say about this picturesque hotel. Thank you so much Ryebeck!! Special mention to a member of staff (didn't catch his name unfortunately) but a blonde gent that works in the restaurant and bar. So so friendly, and... More

The Ryebeck is a country house hotel just as we like it. Lovely lounges, outside terraces - plenty of places to sit and read or enjoy the sun/tranquillity. Lovely lake views - the staff leave you in peace while still being attentive. Very comfortable bed, sufficient furniture without being overcrowded and a lovely pleasant bathroom with separate "two way" shower... More

Stayed one night for my husbands birthday. Beautiful building, lovely gardens and gorgeous views at the back over the Lake. We were in a superb room downstairs which had nice decor, very comfy bed, lovely walk in shower and nice view with patio doors to a seating area outside. The only thing that spoilt it for me was the badly... More

Just had a two day stay at this lovely little gem of a hotel which I found by chance. Staff very professional, friendly and attentive. Hotel is charming and in keeping with the district. Just arrived back from a two night stay at the Ryebeck. What a beautiful place. From the minute we walked through the door we were made to feel so welcome by the lady on Reception. Everything was clearly explained to us and we had the pleasant surprise of being told our room had been upgraded to a 'superb' room. We... More

On a wet day this was a haven for Sunday lunch. Tasty three course meal with attentive staff. Reasonably priced. Extensive picturesque grounds with splendid views. Comfortable seating. Other guests seemed to be enjoying themselves. No grumbles.
