We arrived early afternoon to make the most of our one night stay. We checked in & was told we had to pay a £10 valet charge to park our car overnight, the car needed to be dropped off at the front of the hotel & would be returned whenever we needed it. Great service if you were expecting this...

Last minute overnight stay for my husband and I. Booked the feature suite- room 122 which was lovely, not sure it's worth it for the one night as we didn't make the use of the facilities. Room: about as far as you can get from the spa; amazing view of the lake; very comfy king size bed (more pillows available...

Recently visited with my Mama & the hotel itself was lovely, however the service wasn't good & the spa facilities (sauna, ice room etc.) were closed during our stay. Huge disappointment, as the purpose of our trip was relaxation. It was booked as a surprise, along with two treatments. The treatments were good & the spa staff were lovely, however...

We arrived sleepy eyed at the hotel just after 10. Thinking it would be a bag drop off with the...

Overall it is a nice hotel, it's clean, staff are friendly and the location is spot on for wondering around Bowness. The spa is very average, admittedly it was spoilt by children splashing around in the pool and the sanua being out of order so you were really just left with one very busy steam room, definitely not worth booking...

Just returned from a lovely break at this hotel, all we could have wished for. Lovely room very comfortable bed and pillows, robes supplied. Full English breakfast served at table always a plus. Fabulous location overlooking the lake. Valet parking at a charge but no other option. Staff very friendly and very helpful, would definitly return.

We had a lovely time here with cocktails on the balcony with exquisite views overlooking lake Windermere with lovely staff. The pool area was warm and inviting with lovely steam room and sauna area. The food is fantastic with a whole range of home cooked delights.

I stayed here with my husband in November for one night. The hotel is very central to local ammenites. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Would have liked a lake view but not available. Breakfast was excellent
