Stayed for 2 nights with my partner, and my parents. Had 2 rooms next door to each other with a BEAUTIFUL view of the coast and outdoor pool. Rooms were lovely and clean. Fresh towels each day. No complaints at all. Used the indoor swimming pool and sauna/steam room, more lockers needed as I had to leave my belongings in... More

Stayed for one night with family. Not a great hotel, especially when it's £80 a night. Hotel looks lovely from the pictures online, however if you have a room round the back of the hotel the sights are awful. Rooms inside ok. Member of my family had to wait over hour after check in as room was still not clean... More

was not exactly awful but not great tired old building peeling paint. Dirty under the beds, shower traps window ledges & walls, fag burns on covers. Did not bother eating there as an all you can eat harvester is just up the road for a third of the price. Last night stay was rubbish there was a wedding reception and... More

We didn't realise that this was going to be old chalet style, ex pontins when we arrived but we are here now so will give it a go. Rooms are old chalet style, all regimental. The look on the outside makes you want to get back in your motor and find somewhere else as décor is terrible, needs a good... More

The hotel has its best years well past itself. The reception and common areas despite a failed attempt to refresh them look dated and there's an abundant smell of mould mixed with canteen food and cleaning agents. Our had stains on the ceiling, stains on the blankets and a smelly bathroom.

There are areas of the building that are looking tired - quite a lot of peeling paint etc but as a listed building of architectural interest, I imagine the owners can't just do what they want with it. The hotel is beautiful enough to overlook these small things but I do think however, that everything else that CAN be made... More

Declined first room offered in rear block, room OK but exterior building state, parking and view not acceptable, access via metal stairway bordering on dangerous even in the dry. Front sea view accommodation much much better. Insist on sea view room when booking. Staff very understanding and helpful, restaurant and breakfast fine, lovely attended pool but grounds needed a good... More

This hotel has potential to do more and encourage families, On first impressions it wasn't bad but progressively got worse. Points to note:- 1) Staff were multi tasking to the extent where they couldn't cope! 2) breakfast plates were not cleared from your tables until you vacated your table. 3) no seating area whilst using the bar..... Unless you class... More
