The hotel has its best years well past itself. The reception and common areas despite a failed attempt to refresh them look dated and there's an abundant smell of mould mixed with canteen food and cleaning agents. Our had stains on the ceiling, stains on the blankets and a smelly bathroom.

There are areas of the building that are looking tired - quite a lot of peeling paint etc but as a listed building of architectural interest, I imagine the owners can't just do what they want with it. The hotel is beautiful enough to overlook these small things but I do think however, that everything else that CAN be made... More

Declined first room offered in rear block, room OK but exterior building state, parking and view not acceptable, access via metal stairway bordering on dangerous even in the dry. Front sea view accommodation much much better. Insist on sea view room when booking. Staff very understanding and helpful, restaurant and breakfast fine, lovely attended pool but grounds needed a good... More

This hotel has potential to do more and encourage families, On first impressions it wasn't bad but progressively got worse. Points to note:- 1) Staff were multi tasking to the extent where they couldn't cope! 2) breakfast plates were not cleared from your tables until you vacated your table. 3) no seating area whilst using the bar..... Unless you class... More

Very helpful staff. Good facilities. Good position and views. Very Clean and comfortable room and en-suite. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others visiting the area. My daughter loved both pools (inside and outside)!

This was quite an experience. This is an old Pontins pretending to be a proper hotel. We were asked to pay in full for our 5day stay on arrival ? Something which I have never been asked to do in any hotel in the world. We then discovered that we had been overcharged in error (still not refunded). We then... More

Hotel was very dated. Though the rooms look like that have been recently decorated the outside of the hotel needs some attention. Breakfast was minimalistic and maybe a few more items would of improved this. Checkin/out was quick and efficient. Hotel is perfect location for Weymouth and a lovely walk to the beach..would return

This hotel is very attractive, the location is just a short walk from the beach and has views out over the sea. It is only 2 floors so it is very quiet despite being fully booked. Our room was very modern and tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Complimentary toiletries and the bathroom was very good quality. The staff were extremely... More
