Cannot fault the staff, would give them 5 stars, but the hotel is really tired, no frills, and let down by the 1980's decor. I think the owners should spend some money on this. A warren of corridors to navigate to get to our room, but you should be ok if you follow the signs carefully. We didn't stay for... More

I stayed here for one night with my wife and young baby. The location is great just a few metres from a sandy beach. The hotel is a bit tired, but it's clean, comfortable and the staff are friendly. They had just had new travel cots delivered and immediately put one up in our room for us. There's no parking... More

Stayed here for 2 nights this weekend. It is not the Ritz. Having read all the previous reviews we were not looking forward to our stay. However, it was fine. The best though that can be said was the bed was really comfy with nice quality sheets. We both slept very well which is all you can really ask for... More

We stayed here from Sat Aug 13 to Sat Aug 20. Great location being on the sea front. Easy access to shops ,buses, trains and all the local attractions. Our room was on the 1st floor .No 21. Nice clean room. Smelt fresh and clean. Shower and bathroom very clean. There is a lift for people not so good on their... More

Every year, about this time, the missus and myself go on a coach holiday with the same group of people, nearly all of whom are pensioners. This years chosen destination was the Fairhaven at Weymouth, a hotel we'd stayed at 3 years previously. On the first occasion everyone rated it and we all felt this time it had even improved... My husband and I stayed for just one night thankfully. The lady on reception seemed preoccupied and unhelpful. The room was in dire need of update. Bed was uncomfortable with a cheap mattress. There was heavy dust on TV and kettle was dusty and dirty. In conclusion it was way overpriced by at least £30 per night, the whole place... More

My partner and I enjoyed our stay here, everyone was really polite and welcoming. The room was nice, everything was tidy. We had a great view from our sea front view which was great to wake up too. The only thing that let it down was the noise out the front of the hotel due to people drinking at the... More

Stayed for two nights and the one thing I will say is I will never stay again. I am not fussy when it comes to Hotels as all I really want is a place to sleep but...... The location is great but form that point on it goes downhill. I had a room at the rear (no problem) but my... More

Stayed here recently with my Fiance for one night as we were in the area. The hotel is in a great location near the town and old harbour. We had a room with a lovely sea view. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed.

Read a few reviews on Trip Advisor and like to make my own mind up. However, most of reviews are pretty accurate, This hotel is a 2 star and not much more but there are positives. Cons : only one lift so you can wait ages especially at peak times, rooms are on small side and there are alot of... More
