Old building that could do with a little tlc, but the service, quality of breakfast, cleanliness of the rooms and location more than make up for it. Could not fault the staff, courteous, friendly and very efficient. Good choice of breakfast items, full english breakfast cooked to order served in spacious dining room. The room was very clean, excellent power... More

This hotel is need of a major overhaul and modernisation. Everything is dated. The room was clean and the bed linen and towels of good quality. Breakfast was without a doubt the worst I have ever had put in front of me! This was definitely not worth the £90 per room per night charge.

Excellent sea front location and looked fine from the outside, however, inside the decor and the facilities are very tired and extremely dated. The breakfast was limited and of poor quality. Overall a very disappointing stay for £90 a night, would not have there stayed a second night.

Huge hotel that was clean but very outdated. Great location, just no parking spaces when we arrived! Lovely staff and enjoyed our sleep. One thing, we had a step into the bathroom, which we kept forgetting about, on the way in and out ha! Makes the place more memorable :)

Good location on sea front and accessible to many restaurants and the local town centre. The hotel is in need of maintenance. Not great for those with mobility issues - lots of mini steps to negotiate. My room was pokey and smelt strange. Bathroom was dirty. Beds comfy despite thin pillows. Furniture was old and dated. The staff were not... More

So decided to take a 3 night break with my girlfriend and I cldnt find much fault in the stay. The room was clean and tidy and the service for breakfast was decent with a selection of a full English breakfast and/or cereals. The staff were lovely however the one fault of the hotel was parking. You are given a... More

Cannot fault the staff, would give them 5 stars, but the hotel is really tired, no frills, and let down by the 1980's decor. I think the owners should spend some money on this. A warren of corridors to navigate to get to our room, but you should be ok if you follow the signs carefully. We didn't stay for... More
