A four day trip to the Victoria hotel in Weymouth did not disappoint. Lovely spacious rooms, good choice of menu, nicely presented and appetising, and best of all, lovely smiley staff! The Hotel is beside the famous clock on the seafront and right next door to Rossis fab Ice cream parlour. Buses run from a few yards away to most... More

We went without book and was offered a room in the basement to say we were sharing a room between 4 of us he wanted the full price each. But as we went down into the lower regions of this dump you could feel and smell the damp dirty living of this poorly converted celler and wow it had 8... More

Myself and my partner stayed for one night after a friend suggested we stay there as they knew the owner (this person wasn't even the owner). After we checked in we were just given a key, we asked for directions to the room and were told to go find ourselves. Once we found the room it was dirty, the bed... More

Spent two nights at the Victoria Hotel and was appalled by the state of it. I called the week before we went and they didn't have the booking, but managed to resolve this. We had two rooms, one had fleas in the bed, hairs of a certain type on the sofa bed, one shower didn't work at all and the... More

We stayed one night and didnt get any sleep, the room is small and dirty, there was no milk, the cups were filthy and its right by a nightclub which played loud music till 2pm then a huge gang of youngsters spilled onto the streets right under our window and continued the party. 4 police cars attended over the next... Well where do I begin. Firstly we paid £150 a night for the family room. When we arrived the lovely Scottish owner did not have a clue what was going on, he showed us to our room where I noticed it was dirty, that's when the alarm bell started to ring. He quickly scuttled off, I decided to inspect the... More

To cut it short: 1) Booked on LateRooms - did not receive any sort of confirmation from the hotel itself. When I phoned them to check our reservation he was clearly clueless and said he had something come through last night but hadn't looked at it! 2) Greeted by a builder - wearing a beanie hat and paint covered jeans....
