The Old Manor House is a couple of miles from the centre of Weymouth, in a quiet street; the old stone building has been renovated and extended whilst maintaining its traditional character. The bedroom I stayed in was smallish but comfortable, furnished in a homely style as fits the building, with modern en-suite shower (there was a separate bathroom along... More

I was recommended to sta here while in the area on business. I was delighted! It is a quaint cottage just outside Weymouth that defines everything about English Country life. The welcome was warm (they knew my name as they opened the door) the bedroom was quiet and comfortable, the view was lovely and everything worked!! The breakfast was full... More

We stayed with our son in the family rooms, double room linked to a twin room by a corridor with a shared bathroom, though there is also a shower in the childs room. This is by far and away the best b and b we have stayed in. The rooms are lovely, great furnishings, , beds very comfortable. Lots of... More

Good points: Lovely building, lots of character Wonderfully comfortable bed Powerful shower Plenty of complimentary toiletries Beautiful breakfast Easy to connect to wifi Clean room with ample plug sockets Pretty location Could be improved: Couldn't find a hairdryer & no shower cap - surprising given the range of complimentary items. As a lady with long hair this was inconvenient. Soundproofing... More

Lovely welcome and beautifully clean rooms with everything you will need. You would never know the place is dog friendly as ther is no dog hairs or smell, in our room we had dog treats and a water bowl left for our dog which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was superb, location is a little drive out of town but... More

Booked for a one night stop on a business trip. A beautiful old property, my room and en-suite were sparkling clean and with nice touches such as tasty biscuits ( not the usual packet bourbons!), and de-caff coffee as requested. The bed was very comfortable with real cotton ( not poly-cotton) sheets. The rest of the property was homely, with... More

Having stayed in some pretty appalling accommodation with my dog in the past this B&B did not disappoint! It was pristine clean both in the bedroom (we were in room 2, a downstairs room) and bathroom. Some may say it was a little on the small size but that didn't bother us. There were extra touches too such as cookies... More

We stayed in the family room - which consisted of a large double bedroom and good size twin with interconnecting hallway and shared bathroom between the two rooms. We arrived early and were given the key as the room was already available. There were so many lovely touches in the room - chocolate, biscuits, full tea service, lots of toiletries,... More
